摘要: This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods related to a compound film. An exemplary compound film includes a first layer including a first polymer composition including polyurethane and a second layer including a second polymer composition removably coupled to the first layer. The compound film further includes light switchable adhesive coupled to the second layer and configured to transition from a first state to a second state, the light switchable adhesive has a first peel strength in the first state that is greater than a second peel strength of the light switchable adhesive in the second state. A third peel strength between the first layer and the second layer is less than the second peel strength between the light switchable adhesive in the first state and a bond site.

摘要: A dressing or wound filler comprising a laminate structure of materials. In one example embodiment, a dressing may include a first layer comprising a first film, a second layer adjacent to the first layer and comprising a foam, and a third layer comprising a second film. The first layer and the second layer may further include a plurality of perforations or fenestrations. The third layer may include a plurality of raised features. The perforations or fenestrations of the first and second layers may be positioned or aligned with the raised features of the third layer so as to facilitate tearing of the dressing for sizing and application purposes. In some embodiments, the first layer may comprise a polyurethane film, the second layer may comprise a polyurethane foam, and the third layer may comprise an additional polyurethane film.

摘要: A dressing, system, and method for use with negative-pressure treatment is described. The dressing includes a tube formed from a non-porous material. The tube can have a first end, a second end, a lumen extending from the first end to the second end, and a wall surrounding the lumen. At least one blister is formed in the wall of the tube, the at least one blister proximate to the second end of the tube. At least one aperture is formed in the wall of the second end of the tube. The at least one aperture is configured to provide fluid communication across the wall from the lumen to an exterior of the tube.

摘要: Provided herein are systems and methods for trauma-free removal of light deactivated adhesive drapes. In one aspect a system comprises a drape, at least one first photosensitive adhesive portion having a first release agent configured to deactivate upon exposure to certain ultraviolet light, and at least one second photosensitive adhesive portion having a second release agent configured to deactivate upon exposure to certain visible light, where the system is adapted to be released from a tissue site upon or after exposure to an external stimulus. The system may have a removable blocking layer to prevent the second photosensitive adhesive portions from being exposed to the visible light deactivation wavelengths prematurely. In another aspect, a method for removal of a drape by applying visible light to the drape to deactivate the second photosensitive adhesive portions and promote trauma-free removal of the drape in the absence of an ultraviolet light source.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for providing negative-pressure therapy with oxygen therapy are claimed. An apparatus for providing negative pressure therapy with normobaric or hypobaric oxygen therapy may include dressing having a tissue interface and a cover. Additionally, in some embodiments, the apparatus may include a negative-pressure source and an oxygen-concentrating or oxygen-generating source, each of which may be coupled to or configured to be coupled to the tissue interface. The tissue interface can enable fluid transport during negative-pressure therapy cycles, and disbursement of normobaric or hyperbaric oxygen during oxygen therapy cycles. For example, some embodiments of the tissue interface may comprise structures or foams constructed from polyurethane, silicone, or polyvinyl chloride. The cover should be versatile enough to conform to a tissue site, yet be sufficiently inelastic or become sufficiently inelastic to contain and sustain the pressure from the application of topical normobaric oxygen therapy or hypobaric oxygen therapy.
