Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic diaphragm brake cylinder (1 ) for motor vehicles, with a housing part (6) on the pressure side and a housing part (2) facing away from the pressure side, as well as a diaphragm (24) arranged therebetween, which divides the interior of the diaphragm brake cylinder into two chambers (20, 31) sealed off from one another, of which a first chamber (20) comprises a pressure chamber loaded by a pneumatic pressure and a second chamber (31) comprises a piston chamber for a piston (26) actuated by the diaphragm (24), wherein a peripheral fastening edge (32) of the diaphragm (24) is clamped between the pressure-side housing part (6) and the housing part (2) facing away from the pressure, and wherein the pneumatic pressure loads a surface (50) of the diaphragm (24) which is effective with respect to a working movement of the diaphragm (24), and a reduction ring (36) is provided which extends axially from the diaphragm (24) into the housing part (2) facing away from the pressure and which radially reduces or radially limits the effective area (50) of the diaphragm (24), and at least the reduction ring (36) and the diaphragm (24) are designed as a one-piece component.

Abstract: The invention relates to a disc brake (1) for a commercial vehicle with a pneumatic brake cylinder (4), a brake disc, a brake caliper (3), an application device (7) and with brake pads (8), wherein the brake caliper (3) engages over the brake disc and the application device (7), which can be actuated by the brake cylinder (4), is arranged in the brake caliper (3), by means of which the brake linings (8) can be pressed against the brake disc on both sides during braking, wherein an extendable and retractable piston rod (6) of the brake cylinder (4) is in engagement with the brake application device (7) and the brake caliper (3) is detachably fastened to the brake cylinder (4) by means of a fastening device (2). According to the invention, it is provided that the fastening device (2) comprises at least one screw (11) with a screw head (12), a screw shank (13) and an external thread formed on the screw shank (13) and at least one bore (14) formed in or on the brake cylinder (4) with an internal thread, into which the screw shank (13) is screwed with the external thread, wherein the screw head (12) is locked on a counter surface (15) of the brake caliper (3).
