The color image decoding method includes: transforming chrominance components of a color image in each of two or more inter-prediction modes, calculating costs for the conversion values in each of the two or more inter-prediction modes using a predetermined cost function, selecting one of the two or more inter-prediction modes based on the calculation result, and outputting conversion values of the selected inter-prediction mode; entropy encoding the output conversion values.

The processor is further configured to map a mixture pixel value to a target area of the multi-view image, the mixture pixel value being generated based on pixel values of a first viewpoint and a second viewpoint, and the target area being calculated based on a difference between an output pixel area of the display panel and a corresponding visible pixel area in the viewing zone.
