Abstract: The invention relates to a safety method for an emergency vehicle (1), the emergency vehicle (1) being configured to be autonomously operated and comprising: an energy storage unit (4); sensor devices (6) arranged to monitor the surroundings and the vehicle (1); a water pump (8); at least one connection unit (10, 10', 10'', 10''') for an external water source (20) and/or a water hose (30); conduits (12) arranged in fluid communication with the water pump (8) and/or the at least one connection unit (10, 10', 10'', 10'''); a valve arrangement (14) arranged in fluid communication with the water pump (8), the at least one connection unit (10, 10', 10'', 10''') and the conduits (12), the method comprising: receiving (s101) a command from a control centre (200) to operate the vehicle (1) to a location associated with an emergency situation; operating (s102) the vehicle (1) to the location; and controlling (s103) the vehicle to perform a safety function to alleviate the emergency situation.

Abstract: A method for enabling authentication of transport missions, performed in a control device (100, 200, 300) of a member of a group comprising a plurality of autonomous vehicles and an off-board system. Each member in the group comprises a cryptographic function known by all other members. The method comprises signing (S11), using the cryptographic function, information defining at least one transport mission to be performed by at least one of the autonomous vehicles in the group; and sending (S12) the signed information to a plurality of the other members of the group, in order to request them to authenticate the transport mission. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding method for authenticating transport missions, to control devices implementing the methods, to computer programs, to computer-readable storage mediums, and to autonomous vehicles.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques in the context of vehicles, and to an electronic pallet for transporting stacked objects. According to a first aspect, the disclosure relates to a method, performed by a control device (96) in an electronic pallet (90), for safeguarding the electronic pallet (90) when the electronic pallet (90) is loaded on a vehicle (1). The electronic pallet (90) comprises an energy storage device (95) configured to exchange energy with the vehicle (1 ). The method comprises detecting (S1 ) a displacement of the electronic pallet (90) and activating (S3) a safeguarding function in the electronic pallet (90) based on the detected displacement. The disclosure also relates to an electronic pallet (90), to a computer program for performing the proposed methods and to a computer program product.

Abstract: A method performed by a control device (200, 300) of a vehicle (1), for operating the vehicle (1). The vehicle (1) comprises at least one functional module (40), two or more drive modules (30), wherein the drive modules (30) are configured to be autonomously operated, are individually associated with an individual set of energy parameters and wherein at least one drive module (30) has a gear ratio being different from any other gear ratio of any other drive module (30). The drive modules (30) respectively comprises a pair of wheels (32), at least one electrical motor arranged for operating the pair of wheels (32) and at least one interface (50) releasably connected to a corresponding interface (50) on the functional module (40). The method comprises obtaining (S1) route information describing a planned route of the vehicle (1) and determining (S3) a distribution of a requested driving torque between the respective at least one electrical motors of the two or more drive modules (30) for operating the vehicle (1) along the route based on the route information and the individual sets of energy parameters in order to meet energy criteria. The method also comprises controlling (S4) the two or more drive modules (30) to produce the requested driving torque, in accordance with the determined distribution. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding control device (100, 200, 300), to a vehicle (1) comprising a control device (200, 300), to a computer program and a computer-readable medium.
