    Abstract: A beacon light and lens system includes a base, a light emitting diode assembly having at least one light emitting diode secured to the base, a lens including optics configured to capture and direct light from the at least one light emitting diode, a driver board configured to power the at least one light emitting diode, a power source connected to the driver board wherein the lens is mounted on the base. The system generates a 360° horizontal beam pattern and a predetermined vertical beam pattern.

    Abstract: A light and light control system includes a light configured to generate light from a power source. The system further includes a light collector configured to receive ambient light from any one of a plurality of directions, the light collector including an outer face to receive the ambient light, the light collector including an inclined surface arranged in the light collector, at least one photo detector configured to detect the light received by the light collector, and the inclined surface redirecting the light received from the outer face towards the at least one photo detector. Finally, the system includes a circuit configured to receive a signal from the at least one photo detector and control the light in response to the signal.
