A system and method for fixed or snap-on emergency exit LED lighting. The emergency exit lighting fixture comprises a structure for housing at least one LEO light, an LED driver electronically coupled to the LED lights), a.continuous power source, a backup power source, and a test switch. The fixture, in various configurations, may be mounted to an existing T-grid. The fixture may be tested remotely.
Abstract:
A lamp head assembly is provided. The lamp head assembly includes a thermally conductive block, an inlet cooling fluid pipe coupled to the thermally conductive block such that a cooling fluid is configured to pass from the inlet cooling fluid pipe to the thermally conductive block, and a metal heat exchanger secured to the thermally conductive block. The metal heat exchanger defines a plurality of internal channels to distribute cooling fluid provided by the inlet cooling fluid pipe. The metal heat exchanger is secured to the thermally conductive block such that the cooling fluid is configured to pass from the thermally conductive block to the plurality of internal channels defined by the metal heat exchanger. The lamp head assembly also includes a plurality of light producing elements secured to the metal heat exchanger.

An indicator light is disclosed herein. The indicator light can include a housing having at least one wall, where the at least one wall forms a cavity, and where the housing has a first length. The indicator light can also include a light guide disposed within the housing at a distal end of the housing, where the light guide has a second length that is less than the first length. The indicator light can further include a light source disposed adjacent to the light guide. The housing and the light guide can form a flame path therebetween.

A holder structure for mounting light indicators on printed circuit boards using surface mount technology at a position elevated above the surface of the board is provided with a body member including a top wall, a bottom wall, opposed sidewalls, a front wall, and a rear wall, all being formed integrally together. Two spaced-apart recesses are formed and aligned vertically in the front wall of the body member terminating in respective first and second interior wall portions. The first interior wall portion has openings formed on diametrically opposed sides of a vertical partition and lying in a horizontal plane parallel to the bottom wall. The second interior wall portion has openings formed on diametrically opposed sides of a transverse partition and lying in a plane which is rotated a predetermined number of degrees from a vertical plane perpendicular to the bottom wall.

A light and light control system includes a light configured to generate light from a power source. The system further includes a light collector configured to receive ambient light from any one of a plurality of directions, the light collector including an outer face to receive the ambient light, the light collector including an inclined surface arranged in the light collector, at least one photo detector configured to detect the light received by the light collector, and the inclined surface redirecting the light received from the outer face towards the at least one photo detector. Finally, the system includes a circuit configured to receive a signal from the at least one photo detector and control the light in response to the signal.
