Abstract: A tent or shelter includes a fabric forming a structure for the tent or shelter. The tent or shelter can include a vent assembly having a port, a flap, and member. The port can be disposed through the fabric and permeable to airflow. The flap can be attached to the fabric and adjacent the port. The member can move in response to a force from within the structure so as to move the flap toward and/or away from a closed position in which the flap blocks airflow through the port.

Abstract: An easily deployed free standing shelter where the position of the canopy can be angularly adjusted and manipulated to correlate with the position of the moving sun to provide shade throughout the day and to provide shelter from rain and wind from varying directions is provided such that as the sun, rain and wind conditions change, the canopy may be angularly adjusted by means of a unique pivoting mechanism without the need to relocate or move the entire shelter, the pivoting angle adjustment mechanism includes a control pin for locking the shelter at the desired angular position and allowing for easy unlocking and movement of the canopy without the need to move the entire frame.
