摘要： An air cooled sunshade, e.g., umbrella, provides cooling under the canopy of the umbrella. The foldable canopy of the umbrella comprises of a plurality of segments of elongated panels that have embedded solar panels and a plurality of segments of foldable material to allow the canopy to easily stretch when in the open position and collapse in the closed position, typically arrange having one elongated panel connected on foldable material segment arranged around a center piece. In an embodiment of the invention the foldable material is formed as a pipe having an upper layer and a lower layer, the lower layer having pours through which air can flow to the area under the canopy. The air can then flow from a fan or an air conditioner mounted on the center piece and allowing air to evenly flow under the canopy. The solar panels are connected to provide the necessary energy.

摘要： The present invention provides a fabric (10), consisting of multiple cables and multiple panels (20), for roofing applications. The cables are arranged in sets (11) of three over the area to be covered, and the panels (20) are suspended between the cable sets (11) to complete the fabric (10). Specifically, each panel (20) has four attachment points (22, 24, 26, 28) and is suspended between two adjacent cable sets (11) such that it attaches to two of the three cables in each set on either side of it. This particular arrangement creates overlapping rows of overlapping panels (20) that viewed from one perspective resembles overlapping shingles on a conventional roof, however, when viewed from another perspective reveals that the individual panels (20) are held apart by the cable sets (11) to allow air and light to diffuse through.
