Described herein is an absorbent article having an absorbent core. The absorbent core includes a superabsorbent polymer material and a superabsorbent polymer immobilizing material. The superabsorbent polymer immobilizing material includes from about 20% to about 70% of a first polymer and from about 30% to about 80% of a second polymer. The superabsorbent polymer immobilizing material has a Shear Viscosity at 10 (1/s) at 230 °C of from about 300 mPa·s to about 10,000 mPa·s.

Described herein is an absorbent article. The absorbent article includes an assembly of components and an adhesive composition joining at least two of the assembly of components together. The adhesive composition includes from about 70 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of one or more copolymers and from about 10 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of one or more heterophase copolymers. The one or more copolymers include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of monomer units selected from ethylene, 1-butene, and mixtures thereof. The one or more copolymers also include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of propene monomer units. The adhesive composition is free of polyisobutylene and has a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa-s to about 11,500 mPa-s at 150 °C.

The present invention relates to an oxidizing composition for treatment of keratin fibers comprising a combination of; (a) at least one anionic associative copolymer, (b) at least one anionic non associative copolymer; (c) at least one peroxide agent; (d) at least one persulfate agent; (e) at least on alkalizing agent; and (f) a carrier medium suitable for hair treatment. The oxidizing composition described is suitable for composition used in conventional hair treatments such as dyeing, bleaching, and permanent waving or relaxing/straightening of the keratinous fibers, particularly human hair, requiring an oxidizing composition.
Abstract:
A disposable absorbent article is described. The disposable absorbent article includes a topsheet forming at least a portion of a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article; a backsheet forming at least a portion of a garment-facing surface of the absorbent article; an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and an adhesive for attachment of the disposable absorbent article to an undergarment. The adhesive is disposed on the garment-facing surface. The absorbent article exhibits a peel force of at least 1.0 N, more preferably about 1.1 N or most preferably about 1.2 N in accordance with the Peel Force test and leaves no residue on an undergarment in accordance with the Adhesive Residue test.

The adhesive composition comprises a copolymer; the adhesive composition has a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa-s to about 11,500 mPa-s at 150 °C, the adhesive composition has a Storage Modulus at 37 °C of from about 3 MPa to 9.5 MPa, and the adhesive composition has a Yield Stress at 37 °C of from about 0.8 MPa to about 1.45 MPa.

Described herein is an adhesive composition including at least 90 wt. % of a copolymer including from about 30 wt. % to about 70 wt. % of propene monomer units and from about 30 wt. % to about 70 wt. % of 1-butene monomer units. The adhesive composition can have a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa·s to about 11,500 mPa·s at 150°C. The adhesive composition can have an Enthalpy of Fusion of less than 17 J/g. The adhesive composition can have a Tensile Strength at Yield of from about 0.5 MPa to about 1.5 MPa. The copolymer can have a Static Peel Time of at least 220 seconds.

An absorbent article includes an absorbent insert comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet. The backsheet comprising a nonwoven joined to a film and a backsheet film-to-nonwoven peel strength measured in N/cm in an engagement region. The absorbent article also includes an outer cover and a fastening system capable of joining the absorbent insert to the outer cover. In an engaged configuration, the article comprises an insert-outer cover peel strength measured in N/cm in the engagement region; and the backsheet film-to-nonwoven peel strength is greater than the insert-outer cover peel strength.
Abstract:
A composition for providing a film on keratin fibres comprises: an aminosilicone polymer; a silicone resin which is a MQ resin; a thickening system comprising a thickening polymer; and a solvent. The composition has a viscosity of from 30 mPa.s to 1000 mPa.s, wherein the viscosity is measured at 23°C. The composition has a tangent delta of less than 2 at an angular frequency of 1 Hz at 23°C and at 1% strain. Also, associated methods, kits and uses are provided.

A method for colouring hair, wherein the method comprises: (i) the formation of a first plurality of coated hair fibre portions, wherein the coating comprises a first composition, wherein the first composition comprises a first hair colouring agent, a hydrophobic phase, a hydrophilic phase, a surfactant, and a thickener capable of interacting with the hydrophobic phase and the hydrophilic phase; and subsequently (ii) styling the hair wherein the first plurality of coated hair fibre portions is contacted with a second plurality of hair fibre portions; wherein the method does not comprise the application of a solid barrier means in order to separate the first plurality of coated hair fibre portions from the second plurality of hair fibre portions, and wherein the first composition is substantially free of persulfate.
