Abstract: An attraction system 50 includes a fluid source 52, 54 configured to emit a fluid stream 56, 58 with a geometry that facilitates internal reflection, a transmitter 64, 66 configured to transmit a signal through the fluid stream 56, 58 such that the signal is enclosed in the fluid stream 56, 58 via internal reflection and the signal comprises a parameter, a sensor 68, 70 configured to receive the signal via the fluid stream 56, 58 and provide data indicative of the parameter, and a control system 72 communicatively coupled to the sensor 68, 70. The control system includes a processor 76 and a memory 74, and the memory 74 includes instructions that cause the processor 76 to receive the data indicative of the parameter from the sensor 68, 70, and operate the attraction system 50 based on the parameter.

Abstract: An attraction system 50 has a plurality of show effects 64, 66, 68, a handheld or wearable device, and a control system 52. The control system 52 is configured to perform operations that include monitoring a parameter of the handheld or wearable device, determining that the parameter is indicative of an undesirable utilization of the attraction system 50, and controlling the handheld or wearable device, at least one show effect of the plurality of show effects 64, 66, 68, or both. The control system 52 is also configured to provide guidance to change the parameter in response to the determination that the parameter is indicative of the undesirable utilization of the attraction system 50.

Abstract: An integrated game play system includes a game play platform, an amusement park, and a controller. The game play platform provides access to multiple games and the amusement park includes an attraction including one or more attraction features. Moreover, the controller detects presence of a guest on the game play platform and/or at the attraction, identifies the guest, and determines guest data based on the identification of the guest. In response to determining the guest data, the controller determines a modification to an organization of the multiple games on a display interface of the game play platform and/or a modification to the one or more attraction features (e.g., an animation, a lighting effect, and/or a sound effect), based on the guest data. The controller also sends a control signal indicative of the modification to the game play platform and/or the modification of the one or more attraction features.
