Abstract: An amusement park attraction mapping system (51) includes a sensing system (54) configured to be disposed within an environment (52) of an amusement park attraction (50), a positioning system (56) coupled to the sensing system (54), and a controller (74) communicatively coupled to the sensing system (54) and the positioning system (56). The sensing system (54) is configured to capture scanning data of the environment (52), and the scanning data includes virtual points representative of objects (100, 102, 104) in the environment (52). The positioning system (56) is configured to move the sensing system (54) within the environment (52). Further, the controller (74) is configured to determine target scanning data to be captured by the sensing system (54), output a first control signal to instruct the positioning system (56) to move the sensing system (54) to a target position based on the target scanning data, and output a second control signal to instruct the sensing system (54) to capture the scanning data at the target position.

Abstract: An amusement park system includes a modular attraction system having a ride vehicle having seats to accommodate passengers, an on-board system integrated with the ride vehicle and having on-board game systems connected via a network. Each on-board game system is configured to provide an augmented reality (AR) experience, or a virtual reality (VR) experience, or both, via a respective visual experience generator device. The AR experience, or the VR experience, or both, is provided within a game shared between the on-board game systems. The on-board game systems are integrated into the ride vehicle, and are connected via the network to one another in a manner that allows for ready removal of all or a portion of one of the on-board game systems without affecting operation of the remaining on-board game systems.

Abstract: A quick disconnect system 10 for an accessory 12 electrically coupled to a component 14 of an amusement attraction includes a multi-part electrical enclosure 18 including a first side, a second side opposite the first side, a first opening on the first side, and a relief pass through 20. The multi-part electrical enclosure 18 is configured to: have a first electrical cable 16 coupled to the accessory pass 12 into the multi-part electrical enclosure 18 via the first opening 58 and have a second electrical cable 24 pass into the second side of the multi-part electrical enclosure 18 to enable the first and second cables 16, 24 to be coupled together within the multi- part electrical enclosure 18. The relief pass through 20 is configured to provide strain relief to both the first electrical cable 16 and the second electrical cable 20 and to prevent disconnection of the accessory 12 from the multi-part electrical enclosure 18.

Abstract: A wearable visualization system (10) that includes a wearable visualization device (12). The wearable visualization device (12) includes a housing (18). A display (20) couples to the housing (18) and displays an image for a user. A camera (38) couples to the housing (18) and captures the image. A computer system (28) receives the image from the camera (38) and compares the image to a master image to determine if the image matches the master image.
