Abstract:
A safety or protection system includes a plurality of divisions of first signals (6, 8, 10); a plurality of safety or protection subsystems (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) each of which receives a corresponding one of the divisions of first signals and produces a corresponding plurality of second signals (17A, 17B, 17C) therefrom; and a reflective memory subsystem (22) for communicating the second signals between the safety or protection subsystems.
