    Abstract: Coatings for syringe plunger tips, as well as syringes and syringe components including such coatings, are disclosed. A material of the coating may have at least one different material property than a material of the syringe component to which it is applied. The coatings may provide a reduced coefficient of friction between the coating and a surface of the syringe relative to the coefficient of friction between the uncoated component and the syringe surface. Methods for manufacturing a syringe or syringe component including such coatings, as well as methods for isolating a substance in a syringe from a syringe component, are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A hemostasis device configured to apply a compressive force to a puncture site of a patient's vessel, such as an artery of the foot, is disclosed. The hemostasis device may include a compression member having a plurality of tabs and an inflatable bladder. A plurality of bands may be used to position and maintain the compression member over the puncture site until hemostasis is achieved are releasably coupled to the plurality of tabs. A first band can wrap around the ankle, a second band can wrap around the foot, and a third band can extend between two toes or around a toe. The hemostasis device may also comprise an inflation port in fluid communication with the inflatable bladder.

    Abstract: Devices and methods used to obtain core tissue samples are disclosed. The devices may be configured to drill into cortical bone and saw a hole into a bone lesion and/or bone marrow while obtaining the core tissue sample. The devices can include a motor and a clutch configured to rotate a trocar having a tip configured for drilling and an outer coax cannula having a trephine tip configured for sawing. The core tissue sample may be received within an inner cannula as an intermediate cannula cuts a hole in the bone lesion and/or bone marrow. The devices can include a spacer.

    Abstract: Devices used to restrict flow within a blood vessel are disclosed. Devices within the scope of this disclosure include a braided lattice of nitinol wires that form self-expanding enclosures of an embolic structure. The devices may further include embolic particles disposed within the enclosures. Methods of deploying the devices with the embolic particles are disclosed. Methods of manufacturing the devices with the embolic particles disposed within the enclosures are disclosed.
