Abstract: The present invention relates to a tree root cutter which substantially increases the cutting force of a saw blade for cutting roots buried in the ground in order to fundamentally avert damage to crops, and which allows cutting chips generated in the process of cutting with the saw blade to be easily removed when lodging in gaps in the main body of the cutter. Abstract: Disclosed is a large rotatable cutter head (400) primarily useful in masticating vegetation ranging from grasses to large trees. The cutter head is typically mounted on an articulating arm (412) mounted on a tractor or tread-based vehicle (404). Depending upon the size of the arm and its maneuverability, the cutter head may be used to cut and grind vegetation variously from the ground surface to many feet off the ground. The rotatable cutter head assembly (100) includes a number of rotating cutters (102) mounted inside the periphery of the assembled drum (104) and that spin freely outside the diameter of that drum and, upon contact with vegetation, rotate into the drum assembly. Abstract: A sawing and chipping device for harvesting and chipping trees including a rotatable saw for cutting a tree, conveyor for conveying the cut tree and a chipping element for chipping the cut tree.
