An oven comprising a housing, a cavity, an H-shaped rotating door, a motor and a heat source is disclosed. The cavity, which includes an opening, is located within the housing. The H-shaped rotating door, which can be rotated by the motor, includes a first food loading section and a second food loading section. The H-shaped rotating door also serves as a cover to prevent heat within the cavity from escaping through the opening. The heat source provides heat to the cavity to heat up any food item placed on one of the food loading sections located within the cavity.

Es wird ein Ofen zur Wärmebehandlung von Lebensmitteln angegeben, insbesondere in Form eines Etagenbackofens (10), mit mindestens einer Ofenkammer (12), die mittels einer Tür (24) verschließbar ist, wobei die Tür (24) um eine horizontal angeordnete Schwenkachse zwischen einer Schließstellung und einer Offenstellung verschwenkbar ist, wobei die Tür (24) in der Schließstellung eine Frontöffnung (15) der Ofenkammer (12) von innen verschließt und in der Offenstellung in die Ofenkammer (12) hinein verschwenkt ist, um die Frontöffnung (15) freizugeben.

The invention relates to a craft oven having - an oven housing, - an oven door (2), which is connected to the oven housing in an articulated manner on one side, and - interacting sealing elements (26, 27, 31, 32) on the door (2) and in the region of the door opening of the oven housing, the sealing elements comprising at least one flexible seal (26, 27, 31, 32) and a sealing-abutment surface, and the sealing elements (31, 32) which are arranged in the vicinity of the top door periphery and in the vicinity of the bottom door periphery differing from one another. The object of the invention is to improve the possibilities for fitting the door alternatively with right-hand hinge mounting and left-hand hinge mounting. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the sealing elements arranged on the door (2) in the vicinity of the top and bottom door peripheries are fastened on the door (2) in a releasable (31, 32) and interchangeable manner.

A conveyor oven with improved energy efficiency. The energy efficiency is achieved by providing baffles at an inlet and an outlet of the conveyor oven. The baffles are individually controlled to be closed during cooking operations except for the time required for the passage of a food product through the respective inlet and outlet. The baffles can be operated manually or by electrically driven devices such as solenoids or electric motors. A controller can be used to control the open and closed times of the baffles based on sensor inputs as well as the speed of the conveyor, a predetermined length of the oven cavity between the inlet and outlet and a size of the food product.
