A teeth cleaning device including a gel cartridge, a plurality of cold-light emitting diodes, an arcuate mouth guard, and a controller. The mouth guard includes a first recess to receive a top row of teeth, a second recess opposite the first recess to receive a bottom row of teeth, a cavity between the first and second recess, a first surface in communication with the cold light, and a plurality of first openings. An assembly having a generally arcuate shape is disposed in the cavity and includes a plurality of motors and a plurality of second openings, the motors configured to generate vibrations and the second openings in communication with the first openings. The controller is configured to control dispensing the gel from the gel cartridge into a user's oral cavity, emitting the cold light into the user's oral cavity to activate a whitening compound in the gel, and vibrating the plurality of vibration motors.

A toothbrush including a brush head assembly, the brush head assembly includes at least three substantially rigid brush heads each including a plurality of bristles. A first one and a third one of the at least three brush heads each is resiliently coupled to and is symmetric about a second one of the at least three brush heads. A first resilient joint is molded between the first one and the second of the at least three brush heads. A second resilient joint is molded between the second one and the third of the at least three brush heads.

본 발명은 브러시가 식모된 헤더가 치아 형태에 따라 상하좌우로 탄성이동하면서 치아와 브러시의 접촉 면적 증대 및 마찰력을 보다 높이고, 또한 칫솔 사용자에 의해서 치아에 무리하게 가해지는 압력을 조절해서 칫솔질로 인한 치아의 마모와 치주 조직의 손상을 최소화하며 치주질환이 있는 환자에게 유용한 바스테크닉 칫솔질을 보다 용이하게 사용할 수 있게 하여 잇몸의 청결 및 치주 조직의 건강에 도움을 주는 동시에 칫솔질의 효과 극대화 및 구강위생에 보다 일조할 수 있도록 하고, 제작 편의성도 극대화시킨 칫솔을 제공코자 하는 것이다. 즉, 본 발명은 통상의 칫솔(1)에 있어서, 헤더(4) 상부에는 복수개 형성되는 탄성편(5)과, 상기 탄성편(5) 상부에 브러시(3)가 식모된 것을 특징으로 하는 한다. 또한, 상기 헤더(4) 상부에는 선택적으로 고정형 브러시(3)도 일부 식모할 수 있도록 하며, 상기 탄성편(5)은 원호형으로 상부로 형성되고, 연질 합성수지재로 제작되어 상하좌우 탄성 이동이 가능토록 한 것이다.

A flowable medium distribution device (10) comprises a chamber (12), a distribution member (30), a dispensing membrane (24,40,68,72) and bristles (36). The chamber (12) is configured to contain the flowable medium (62). The distribution member (30) includes an aspect (32,34) from which the flowable medium is to be dispensed. The dispensing membrane (24,40,68,72) is disposed on the aspect of the distribution member for dispensing the flowable medium on at least one surface to be treated. The dispensing membrane comprises a plurality of uni-directional dispensing outlets (26,46,70,74), operable between (a) normally-closed and (b) open positions. The bristles (36) extend from the dispensing membrane and are for contacting with the surface to be treated. The dispensing membrane (i) dispenses the flowable medium through the plurality of unidirectional dispensing outlets only in response to application of a differential pressure across the dispensing membrane equal to or exceeding a threshold, wherein the uni¬ directional dispensing outlets open for delivery of the flowable medium, and (ii) responsive to the differential pressure across the dispensing membrane being less than the threshold, the uni-directional dispensing outlets return to a normally-closed position which terminates delivery of the flowable medium (62).

The invention relates to a tooth-brushing appliance including multiple rotary brushing systems. The appliance comprises a body having a head (1) secured thereto, said head being provided with adjacent counter-rotating brushes (2, 2') having a substantially cylindrical external shape and parallel longitudinal axes. Each brush (2, 2') is rotated by a shaft (4, 4') and supported at each end by a bearing (3, 3', 5, 5') forming part of a support (6) that defines the gap between the longitudinal axes of each of the brushes. The support (6) comprises at least two flexible arms (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) oriented substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axes, such that the respective ends thereof form the aforementioned bearings, said flexible arms being linked to a base (6e) used to secure the support (6) to the head (1). According to the invention, the brush (2) is formed by bristles oriented perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis XX' of the brush, said bristles having different lengths, so as to form at least one brush zone having a reduced cross-section in relation to the generally cylindrical cross-section of the brush.

본 발명은 이중모를 갖는 칫솔에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 일정한 길이를 갖는 헤드부 일측면에 치아의 외부를 양치하기 위한 제1칫솔모를 형성하고, 그 헤드부의 타측면의 일측에 경사형으로 돌출되는 단(短)형 돌출헤드부를 형성하되, 그 돌출헤드부의 경사면에 제2칫솔모를 형성함으로, 제1칫솔모에 의해 치아 외부 표면의 양치가 가능하게 하면서도 경사상의 제2칫솔모에 의해 구강을 크게 벌리지 않고도 자연스럽게 치아 내부 벽면과의 접촉 및 마찰력 부여로 청결한 치아 및 구강 상태를 유지할 수 있게 하며, 나아가 안정화된 양치질 및 헤드부에 의한 피부 손상을 예방할 수 있으며, 또한, 자연스러우면서도 안정된 양치가 가능하여 올바른 양치 습관을 기를 수 있는 치아의 내/외부 양치가 용이한 이중모를 갖는 칫솔에 과한 것이다.

The cleaning elements (12) being movable to increase the space (14) to thereby enable the cleaning elements (12) to be located on either side of part of a tooth. Each cleaning element (12) acts to control the angle of the other cleaning element (12) relative to the tooth and gum, to ensure that the cleaning elements (12) engage the tooth and gum at an angle, so that the cleaning elements (12) can clean between the tooth and the gum.

A U-shaped mouthpiece [10] joined with a delivery tube [20] engaged at one of its ends and with a handle [30] at an opposing end. The mouthpiece [10] has an outer wall [14] enclosing a hollow space [1 1], the outer wall [14] configured as either one or two wells [10' and 10'], each sized for receiving plural teeth. A plurality of apertures [16] in the outer wall [14] are positioned and extensive for directing a fluid [40] within the hollow space [11] into the well [10'] as jet steams. A plurality of bristles [18] are mounted on the outer wall [14] within the well [10'] in positions for fluid impingement by the fluid [40] exiting the apertures [16]. A fluid pump [34] pressurizes the mouthpiece [10] to enable the jet streams to impinge on the bristles [18] so as to scour the teeth.
