Die Erfindung betrifft ein Druckventil (2) für den Deckel (4) eines Schnellkochtopfs mit mindestens zwei Druckstufen, die mithilfe eines Drehgriffs (6) einstellbar sind, bestehend aus einem mit dem Deckel (4) verbindbaren Ventilausgangsrohr (24), einem dieses mit Abstand umgebenden Ventilkörper (30) sowie einem federbelasteten Dichtkörper (28) der mit dem Austrittsquerschnitt des Ventilausgangsrohrs (24) zusammenwirkt. Es soll ein Druckventil geschaffen werden, dass sich sehr leicht und gezielt einstellen lässt. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass der Drehgriff (6) einen Drehhebelteil (8) aufweist, der relativ zu dem fest mit dem Deckel (4) verbindbaren Ventilkörper (30) drehbar ist, dass an der in Richtung auf den Ventilkörper (30) weisenden Unterseite des Drehhebelteils (8) federbelastete Positionszapfen (40) angeordnet sind und dass der Ventilkörper (30) an seiner dem Drehhebelteil (8) zugewandten Oberseite Rastmulden (42) zur wahlweisen Aufnahme der Positionszapfen (40) aufweist.

An automatic pressure canning appliance for high-acid recipes has pre-programmed canning recipe programs (i.e., pre-determined times and temperatures) with which it has been programmed to can the high-acid food that the user wishes to can. A user selects the canning recipe program for the food to be canned via a canning recipe program input on a control panel of the appliance. The appliance processes the food to be canned (which is in jars in the appliance) in a pure steam environment for a pre-programmed processing time of the selected canning recipe program.

The present invention relates to an electric rice pressure cooker without a rubber packing, and more particularly, to an electric rice pressure cooker including a main body case having an open top, an inner pot installed inside the main body case, and a cover hinge-coupled to the main body case and disposed to cover the open top of the main body case, wherein the inner pot has a plurality of flange portions provided on a top portion thereof at certain intervals apart along a circumferential direction and has a tapered sloped surface formed on the top end thereof, and the cover comprises: a sealing member having a circular hole formed in the center thereof, being seated on the inner pot, and having a bottom surface that is seated on and contacts the inner pot and is formed to correspond to the top end of the inner pot; and an inner cover provided with a receiving space therein in which the sealing member can move vertically, the inner surface of the receiving space being configured to maintain a tight seal with the peripheral end portion of the sealing member. The sloped surface of the inner pot is tapered toward the inside, the sealing member is provided with a bent portion so as to contact the sloped surface of the inner pot and the inner surface of the inner cover, and a part of the bent portion contacting the sloped surface is formed as a sealing surface corresponding in shape to the sloped surface, so that steam generated during cooking passes through the circular hole and presses the sealing member downward to maintain a tight seal with the inner pot.

The invention relates to a seal (10) for an appliance (1) for cooking food under pressure, including a vessel (2) and a lid (3) defining a cooking chamber (5), said seal comprising a heel (11) from which at least one first lip (12) projects, said lip having at least one release window (20) bored therein, extending through the body (e) of the lip, said first lip (12) also forming a differential moving member enabling the release window (20) - when the pressure inside the cooking chamber (5) exceeds a predetermined threshold - to perform a movement in relation to the heel (11) that enables said release window (20) to open a release opening by means of which said cooking chamber (5) is placed in communication with the outside of the appliance (1). A pressure cooker (1) with additional safety device against the danger of explosion due to overpressure, comprising a vessel (2) which is open upward, a lid (3) which can engage the mouth (7) of the vessel (2) in order to close it, and an annular gasket (4) which is associated with the lid (3) and can engage the inner lateral surface (2a) of the vessel in order to provide the steam-tight seal between the vessel (2) and the lid (3); the gasket (4) has at least one portion (5) that can be deformed due to the pressure that acts on its side directed toward the inside of the vessel (2) in order to pass from a sealing position, in which it is engaged hermetically with the inner lateral surface (2a) of the vessel (2) and with the lid (3), to a venting position, in which it is disengaged from the inner lateral surface (2a) of the vessel (2), in order to allow the outward venting of steam when a preset pressure is exceeded inside the vessel (2).
