摘要： An emulsion concentrate that includes an ester oil, a nonionic ester emulsifier, a waxy ester, and an aqueous cationic surfactant. In an embodiment, the ester oil may be glycerol triheptanoate, the nonionic ester emulsifier may be glyceryl monostearate, the waxy ester may be a hydrogenated rapeseed oil, and the aqueous cationic surfactant may be alkyamido propyl PG-dimonium chloride, such as cocamidopropyl PG-dimoinum chloride. The emulsion concentrate provides an improved sensory experience as compared to a conventional emulsion concentrate. The invention further encompasses an end use formulation including the emulsion concentrate dispersed within a carrier, such as water. Within the scope of the invention are textiles impregnated with the emulsion composition or with the end use formulation. Related methods of manufacture and use are also included.

The composition in accordance with the invention is a transparent, stable foaming cleansing composition, with excellent cosmeticity, especially with optimized viscosity, without the addition of thickening polymer for easy use. The composition of the invention moreover has good foam quality and good sensory properties on the skin especially after rinsing.

Further, the present invention is concerned with a specific cosmetic composition comprising water, an emulsifier component comprising a lipophilic non- ionic emulsifier, and an oil component which is a mixture of C12-C16 alkane and a cyclic silicone, in particular a cyclopentasiloxane and/or cyclohexasiloxane, and also to an applicator for cosmetic purpose impregnated or coated with such cosmetic composition. The present invention allows a highly efficient removal of waterproof make-up while reducing or avoiding the formation of an oily or greasy film with heavy texture on the skin upon use.
