Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for providing at least one solid fraction from a textile product comprising a natural fibre and/or a synthetic fibre, the process comprises the steps of: i) proving the coloured textile product comprising a natural fibre and/or one or more synthetic fibres; ii) adding a liquid solution of dihydrolevoglucosenone and/or derivatives of dihydrolevoglucosenone in water, thereby providing a decolorized textile product; and iii) separating the decolorized textile product from the liquid fraction, thereby providing the at least one solid fraction.
Abstract:
A method for recycling dye from a dyed textile, the method comprising providing a textile coloured with a dye; adding the textile to a bath comprising a solution of ionic liquid, thereby causing the dye to strip from the textile and to disperse within said solution.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of dyeing a substrate comprising (i) elastomeric fibre containing at least 30 wt.% of a first polymer having a glass transition temperature T of less than 60°C and (ii) non-elastomeric companion fibre containing more than 50 wt.% of a second polymer, said second polymer being polymer having no glass transition temperature or polymer having a glass transition temperature T 2 that is at least 20°C higher than T 1 , said method comprising: a)contacting the substrate with a dyeing medium to produce a pre-dyed substrate comprising 10 dyed elastomeric fibre and dyed companion fibre; b) contacting the pre-dyed substrate with an extraction medium at a temperature T e and a pressure P e , to produce a high fastness dyed substrate, said extraction medium comprising at least 50 wt.% of supercritical or liquefied carbon dioxide; wherein T e exceeds T g1 ,extraction and wherein T e is less than T g2 ,extraction in case the companion 1 fibre contains more than 50 wt.% of polymers having a glass transition temperature T 2 ; T g1 ,extraction representing the glass transition temperature of the first polymer in carbon dioxide at pressure P e ; and T g2 , extraction representing the glass transition temperature of the second polymer in carbon dioxide at pressure P e . 20 The present method enables the production of dyed substrates containing elastomeric fibre as well as non-elastomeric companion fibre that exhibit extremely high colour fastness because the dye is almost exclusively contained in the companion fibres. The present invention also provides a dyed substrate that can be obtained by the 2 aforementioned dyeing method.
Abstract:
A method of generating a pattern used to process a surface of a fabric through laser irradiation is provided. The method includes the steps of defining a pattern area having an array of pixels. A laser irradiation unit area is defined where the laser irradiation unit area includes at least one pixel. A laser irradiation unit density associated with the pattern area can be selected where the irradiation unit density corresponds to a number of laser irradiation unit indicators included in the pattern area. A plurality of laser irradiation unit indicators are arranged within the pattern area based on the laser irradiation unit density and the defined laser irradiation unit area. An effective applied power of the laser is identified for each of the plurality of laser irradiation unit indicators.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to new compounds, which are molecular combinations of a phthalocyanine and a mono-azo dyestuff linked via specific linking groups and to a process for their preparation. Further aspects are shading compositions using these compounds.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel variant EGIII or EGIII-like cellulases which have improved stability. The variant cellulases have performance sensitive residues replaced to a residue having modified stability.
Abstract:
During stonewashing of denim fabric or garments, redeposition of blue color often occurs back onto the surface of the denim or other parts like pocket parts. The invention relates to the inhibition of backstaining or redeposition during the stonewashing process by applying a lipolytic enzyme, preferably cutinase, thereby avoiding that the blue colour redeposites on the fabric or garment.
