Abstract:
Abstract:
An air filter, which includes a casing (1), a battery unit (2), a motor (3), an air pump (4), a water tank (5), an air outlet pipe(14) of the pump and an air inlet pipe (17) of the water tank, a check valve (16), and a power switch (17) etc, is provided. An eccentric axle (8) of the motor is connected with a connecting rod (9) of the air pump, and the pump is driven to rotate by the motor to pump the air. The underpart of said water tank is provided with an air intake orifice (12). A tier of air exhaust orifices (13) are disposed inside the water tank upon the air intake orifice. The top of the water tank is provided with a gas outlet orifice (11) conjugated with a sealing cover (10). The gas outlet orifice is thrown out of the cover and connected with one end of the respiration pipe (18). The other end of the respiration pipe (18) is connected with an inspiration nose mask or a respirator (19). The air filter of the present invention for supplying clean air to human body by filtering air with water has the merits of simple structure, low cost, good effects of anti-dust and anti-pollution, easy taking and using. So the users can inhale the filtrated and purified air, it is benefit for the health of the users.
Abstract:
A filter element 12 that includes a fluid inlet 16, a fluid outlet 17 that is in fluid communication with the inlet 16, a filter media 40, 42 through which the fluid passes when moving from the inlet 16 to the outlet 17, and a plenum 38 that comprises continuous filaments 66 that are bonded to each other at points of filament intersection 68. The plenum is easy to manufacture, is resistant to compaction when contorted, and exhibits a low pressure drop as air is distributed across the filter media.
Abstract:
A body conforming, reusable, washable, textile holder for removably holding at least one article in close bodily contact. The holder may be a wrap or tube constructed to enclose a portion of the body where the article is to be held. The article may be a therapeutic article, such as a heat generating thermal pack, a cooling pack, or other article comprising a therapeutic agent; an absorbent article; a sensing article; or a filter article. The invention also relates to a system comprising the body conforming holder and an article for use therewith, and a method for holding such an article in close bodily contact by wearing the holder.
Abstract:
A breathing apparatus having a source of oxygen and a mouthpiece, which includes an inlet connected through a first one-way valve to receive inhaled gas, and an outlet having a second one-way valve to expel exhaled gas from a user, A scrubber canister is coupled to the mouthpiece and receives the output of the mouthpiece through the second one-way valve. The scrubber canister removes at least a portion of carbon dioxide from the exhaled gas from the user, and outputs carbon dioxide depleted gas. The scrubber canister has an inner canister and an outer canister and a plurality of vanes disposed between the inner canister and the outer canister. The vanes increase the dwell time of gas in the canister, thereby increasing the amount of carbon dioxide removed from the gas. Such construction can be implemented in rebreathers having radial, axial or cross-flow designs.

Abstract:
A respiratory device filter (10) comprises a housing (12) having a mouthpiece (16) and a body (18). The housing (12) defines an inner sidewall (34) and a conical filter (14) is disposed within the housing (12). The conical filter (14) includes a first end that defines an apex (42) and a second end that defines an opening (44). An apex retention member (46) extends from the inner sidewall (34) and is secured to the apex (42) of the conical filter (14).
