Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for retrofitting a pneumatic tool with a filter. The pneumatic tool has an end cap configured to receive a connector for connecting the pneumatic tool to a source of compressed gas. A retrofit connector is adapted to be received by the end cap of the pneumatic tool in place of the connector. A filter is connected to the retrofit connector independent of the end cap, and configured to filter the compressed gas received from the source. The connector has a first mechanical connection, and a second mechanical connection configured to mate with a third mechanical connection disposed on the end cap. The filter includes a fourth mechanical connection configured to mate with the first mechanical connection of the connector.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter arrangement for large containers (10), especially silos, with a hollow casing (18) to take at least one filter, one side of which, connectable to the large container (10), has an air inlet aperture (20) while its other side has an air outlet aperture communicating with the filter. The filter may be inserted into the air outlet from outside and butts against the rim of the air outlet via its sealing flange. The side of the hollow casing with the air outlet may be covered off by means of a cap (8) operably connectable to the hollow casing (18), having an aperture communicating with the air outlet, in pressurised connection with the flange in the operative position and releasing the side in the inoperative position.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A filtration array comprising a main raw fluid supply line and a main filtered fluid collecting line, at least one filtration flow path extending between the main raw fluid supply line and main filtered fluid collecting line, each at least one filtration flow path configured with a filtering assembly comprising a three or more filter units extending from a manifold configured on the filtration flow path and being in flow communication with the main raw fluid supply line and the main filtered fluid collecting line.
Abstract:
A filtration array comprising a main raw fluid supply line and a main filtered fluid collecting line, at least one filtration flow path extending between the main raw fluid supply line and the main filtered fluid collecting line; each of the at least one filtration flow path is configured with a filtering assembly comprising a pair of filter units coaxially extending from a common manifold configured on the filtration flow path and is in flow communication with the main raw fluid supply line and the main filtered fluid collecting line, each of the filter units comprising a plurality of parallely disposed filter members.
Abstract:
An adapter is provided for placement within a furnace filter bay having a flow of air therethrough. The filter bay is for receiving a furnace filter. The adapter includes a filter abutment face for abutment with at least a portion of the furnace filter, a mounting face parallel to the flow of air and attachment means permitting removable attachment of the adapter to the furnace filter bay. The adapter allows filters of smaller depth than the filters originally designed for use within the filter bay to be used, thereby eliminating the need for purchasing the original filters. A brace is also provided for the same purpose. A kit is described that includes the adapter and/or brace, along with instructions for installation thereof within the filter bay.
Abstract:
A filter apparatus for filtering a stream of gas is disclosed. The apparatus has a head with an inlet and an outlet, the head also having a first flow conduit connected to the inlet and a second flow conduit the outlet. The apparatus also has a filter and a bowl which contains the filter and is connected to the head. The bowl an annular recess. There is also a connector for connecting the filter to the head and the bowl. The part of the connector that engages the bowl has a protrusion that is inserted into the recess.
Abstract:
An End Cap for an Assembly Used in the Preparation of Compressed Gas An end cap for attaching to one or more filter elements and respective filter bowls is disclosed. The end cap has a tubular body formed by extrusion and this body has a series of apertures formed therein. The apertures include an end aperture for attachment to a filter bowl and another end aperture for attachment to another filter bowl or to a sealing disc. The body also has a pair of sidewall apertures to act as inlet and outlet the filter assembly. The end cap also has a plastic insert for insertion into the body, the insert having a conduit portion for directing a stream of gas from the inlet to a filter element through one of the end apertures.
