    摘要: An apparatus includes a set of atomizers, a housing and a separator. Each atomizer includes an inlet portion that receives an inlet flow of a solution and an outlet portion that produces an atomized flow of the solution. The housing defines a flow path. Each atomizer is disposed at least partially within the housing such that the outlet portion of each atomizer is in fluid communication with the flow path. The housing is configured such that a gas flowing within the flow path can be sequentially mixed with the atomized flow of the solution produced by the outlet portion of each atomizer to produce a mixture of the gas and the solution. The separator produces a first outlet flow including a portion of the gas and a vaporized portion of a solvent, and a second outlet flow including a liquid portion of the solvent and a solute.

    摘要: Apparatus and methods for transforming water vapor into potable water by using a vapor compression refrigeration system which includes first and second cooling elements disposed in an air passage duct that provides an air circulation pattern driven by a fan or similar device. The circulating air undergoes cooling to a temperature below the dew point to collect water from the air. The collected water is stored in a principal storage vessel where ozone is injected to eliminate bacteria and contaminants. At least a portion of the recovered water is transferred to a secondary storage vessel where it is further cooled by refrigerant from the same compressor.

    摘要: A turbine washing system having a water making apparatus at a turbine site having a turbine. The water making apparatus extracts water from air. A water delivery system delivers the extracted water from the water making apparatus to the turbine to clean the blades of the turbine while the turbine is on-line. A water feeder is provided for feeding the extracted water from the water making apparatus to the ­water delivery system. A method for cleaning turbines on-line comprises extracting water from air directly at a turbine site having a turbine and treating the air and the extracted water to obtain extremely clean water having a conductivity of less than 3. This extremely clean water is then fed to the turbine to clean the turbine blades while the turbine is on-line. Preferably the extremely clean water is fed through a deionizer before being fed to the turbine.
