A pump assembly cap includes an accumulator reservoir configured for fluid communication with a container through a one-way inlet valve. An actuator including a dispensing passage having a dispensing orifice. A delivery path extended from the one-way inlet valve, through the accumulator reservoir, the one-way outlet valve, and to the dispensing orifice. The delivery path includes a sealed configuration and an opened configuration. In the sealed configuration, the actuator is in a ready position and the accumulator reservoir includes a first volume, the one-way outlet valve hermetically seals the accumulator reservoir, and the one-way inlet valve is closed. In the opened configuration, the actuator is moved to a dispensing position and the accumulator reservoir includes a second volume less than the first volume, the hermetic seal of the one-way outlet is open, and the one-way inlet valve is closed.

The invention relates to a liquid dispensing device comprising: a piston chamber; a piston that is moveable within the piston chamber to pressurise a liquid to be dispensed; a nozzle with a defined throughput for dispensing the liquid; an outlet valve having a defined minimum opening pressure arranged between the piston chamber and the nozzle; and a prime valve for priming the device. The prime valve may be mechanically operable and may be arranged on or in the piston. The liquid dispensing device may further comprise an operating member, which may protrude from an end wall of the piston chamber and which may be arranged to move the prime valve from a closed position to an open position when the moveable piston is near or at an end of its stroke. The outlet valve may be configured to minimize a difference between its opening pressure and its closing pressure. It may comprise a dome and the dome may have a stiffness which varies in radial direction.

A dispensing unit for liquid or pasty media comprises a container (1) onto the neck (2) of which a metering pump (5) having two parts (11, 16) is placed. A hollow-cylindrical first part (11) of the metering pump (5) adjoins the neck (2) and has a first one-way valve (6) with a first valve body (7) at an intake opening . A piston-forming second part (16) of the metering pump (5) has an outer actuating projection (17) for a stroke (h) of the metering pump (5), extends displaceably in the first part (11), and, at an intake opening which is aligned with the dispensing opening, has a second one-way valve (8) with a preferably spring-loaded, second valve body (9). Both one-way valves (6, 8) open in the same direction and the distance (a) between the two valve bodies (7, 9) is variable. The first valve body (7) arranged in the intake opening is designed as an opening stop for the second valve body (9) arranged in the opposite dispensing opening.

Ein hohlzylindrischer erster Teil (11) der Dosierpumpe (5) schließt an den Hals (2) an und weist an einer Ansaugöffnung ein erstes Einwegventil (6) mit einem ersten Ventilkörper (7) auf. Ein kolbenbildender zweiter Teil (16) der Dosierpumpe (5) ist mit einem äußeren Betätigungsansatz (17) für einen Hub (h) der Dosierpumpe (5) versehen, erstreckt sich verschiebbar im ersten Teil (11), und weist an einer mit der Ansaugöffnung fluchtenden Abgabeöffnung ein zweites Einwegventil (8) mit einem vorzugsweise federbeaufschlagten, zweiten Ventilkörper (9) auf. Beide Einwegventile (6, 8) öffnen in die gleiche Richtung und der Abstand (a) zwischen den beiden Ventilkörpern (7, 9) ist variabel. In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, "Flairosol" dispensing devices can be provided. Such devices utilize a combination of Flair® technology, pre- compression valves and aerosol like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. Such a dispensing device has, for example, a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring. The device further has a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a container, for example, the inner container of a Flair® bottle, and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates a trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve, which serve to prevent backflow. Liquid exiting the piston chamber under pressure (supplied by a user's pumping the trigger) enters a central vertical channel which is in fluid communication with both the pressure chamber (above the pressure piston) and a dome valve provided near the outlet channel at the top of the dispensing head. The dome valve has a preset pressure, such that once exceeded by the liquid, opens and allows for a spray. If the liquid pressure drops below such preset pressure the dome valve closes off the outlet channel, which serves to regulate the strength of the flow and preclude leakage. Alternatively, in an activated embodiment, for example, once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it can be dispensed by a user allowing the dome valve to open by pressing on an activation button that removes a dome lock.

The invention concerns a fluid product dispensing pump, comprising a pump body (10) including a metering chamber (20) defined between an upper piston (30) sliding in an upper part (11) of the pump body (10) and a lower piston (40) sliding in a lower part (12) of the pump body (10), said lower piston (40) co-operating with a spring (50) arranged in said lower part (12) of the pump body (10). The invention is characterized in that the spring (50) is isolated from any contact with the fluid product, the lower part (12) of the pump body comprising air recycling means (15) enabling air intake and/or discharge when the pump is actuated, isolating means (60) being provided to prevent the fluid products from penetrating into said air recycling means.
