Abstract:
Atomizing nozzle which combines two or more substances introduced through at least a first inlet (10) and a second inlet (50), and sprays the resulting atomized droplets through an outlet (110), capable of optimized flow rate and droplet size through a modular design based on interchangeable disk-shaped modules. When stacked in a hollow cylindrical casing conformed by a first housing (20) and a second housing (120), the plurality of modules conform a first mixing chamber (200) and a second mixing chamber (210) connected through a swirl module (60). Furthermore, when said stacking occurs, the first inlet (10) is connected to the first mixing chamber (200), the outlet (110) is connected to the second mixing chamber (210); and the second outlet may be connected to the first mixing chamber (200) or the second mixing chamber (210) depended on the configuration selected by the user.
Abstract:
An anvil assembly for a fiber roving chopper comprises an annular roller and an annular anvil wheel. The annular roller comprises an inner diameter surface with a plurality of dovetails, and an outer diameter surface comprising a deformable material. The annular anvil wheel comprises an inner diameter surface forming a central bore for mounting the anvil assembly in the fiber roving chopper, and an outer diameter surface extending between a first end and a second end and having a plurality of dovetail slots that receive the plurality of dovetails.
Abstract:
Jet nozzle for spraying fast-drying concrete with an automatic regulation of pressure and flow of water and self-cleaning function, which is assembled from (1) the casing that has the opening for the storage of the pipes (8) at the rear side used for inflow of dried concrete and for the perforations for fastening pipes with screws (blots) (9). On the front side there is a bearing for the storage of the water ring (3) and cover ring (4). The bearing is made without gaps, the plugging of the rings is performed with 2 "O" rings (6). The fastening of the pipes for injecting is done with a threaded ring (2). Plugging of the pipe for injecting is done with a plug (10). The automatic regulation of the flow, pressure and self-cleaning of the jet nozzle is done with the help of the plug (10) and water (3) and cover ring (4).

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a particulate feeding apparatus for applying particulate, such as super-absorbent materials, to a substrate, such as a fibrous web. The apparatus may include a feeder tube for the powder and a rotary gate valve, including one or more holes, which may then intermittently feed particulate to an eductor or venturi nozzle which is located in an air stream. The rotary valve provides an intermittent supply of particulate to a relatively low pressure zone at the nozzle formed by the venturi action of the passing air stream and the particulate may be distributed precisely where desired. A process for delivering powder to a substrate in precise amounts and distribution patterns is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Nozzles for converting clumps and nodules of dry or substantially dry fibrous insulation to pils and for spraying on the so treated and accelerated air entrained insulation pieces to form thermal and acoustical insulation in building cavities. The nozzles comprise a shredder section for reducing the size of many of the pieces of insulation to pil size and an accelerator section for increasing the velocity of a stream of air suspended pils for improved just-installed insulation integrity or strength. The shredder and the accelerator can also be combined in a single unit.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for producing mortar, comprising: a tubular housing (1), at least one air conduit (2) situated in the housing (1), a nozzle unit (3) at the free end of the air conduit, supply lines (4, 5, 6) for binding agents in fluid form, aggregate in fluid form and optionally for additional fluid, a mixing section (7) for combining all components and an ejection nozzle (8) at the end of the mixing section (7). Said mixing section (7) has a device (A) for removing mortar that has set.
Abstract:
A process for applying a refractory castable onto a surface, comprising the steps of: (a) introducing metered amounts of a clay-free, dry refractory castable into a delivery hose, the dry refractory castable having an alumina content of about 40-95 %; (b) conveying the dry refractory to a dispensing assembly under pneumatic pressure; (c) introducing water and a set modifying admixture into the dry refractory prior to dispensing the refractory castable from the dispensing assembly; and (d) spraying the hydraulic refractory castable onto a surface.
