The present invention relates to a screening device for separating dry granular material into a fine fraction and a coarse fraction. The device comprises a drum screen defined by an open rotatable frame, which frame defines a circumferential wall, and a sheet-like screen arranged over the circumferential wall of the frame, a driving device by means of which the drum screen is rotatably driven, a feed opening at a short end of the drum screen and a discharge opening at the opposite short end of the drum screen. The screening device comprises a vibration device which rotates along with the drum screen, which vibration device comprises one or more vibrating elements mounted to the drum screen, which set the drum screen vibrating in use. The invention further relates to the screening of granular material using such a device.

A waste sorting apparatus with a wobbling breakup unit capable of efficiently sorting buriable waste into combustible daily waste, recyclable earth and sand, reinforcing rods and the like is disclosed. The waste sorting apparatus includes a belt conveyor (120) which feeds waste, a fan-shaped vibrating screen (160) having a number of spokes arranged at certain spaces, which is disposed below a discharge end of the waste feeding unit to sort the waste falling down from the waste feeding unit according to grain diameter through the spaces between the spokes, a trommel (130) configured such that a number of rods having a circular section are combined in a grid and the sorting holes are formed between the rods to sort the waste supplied from the fan-shaped vibrating screen into combustible waste and earth and sand, a wobbling breakup unit (140) disposed between the waste feeding unit and the fan- shaped vibrating screen to breakup the waste freely falling from the waste feeding unit, and a hot air dryer (150) having an air blowing port disposed below a discharge end of the wobbling breakup unit to dry the waste discharged from the wobbling breakup unit.

Le procédé selon l'invention pour le traitement de boues, en particulier de boues portuaires polluées, est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend les opérations consistant : - à mélanger lesdites boues avec des gravats de béton et/ou de pierres, - à traiter par broyage ledit mélange boues/gravats pour obtenir un broyat, et - à réaliser une opération de criblage dudit broyat, simultanément à un traitement de chauffage, pour obtenir au moins deux granulométries différentes de broyat. L'invention concerne également l'installation pour le traitement de gravats, en particulier de gravats mélangés à des boues, apte à mettre en œuvre le procédé précité, cette installation comprenant des moyens broyeurs (2), des moyens cribleurs (4) associés à des moyens de chauffage (5), et des moyens de transfert (3) entre les deux.

A clamp (10) is provided for releasably securing a screen (93) to a basket sidewall of a vibratory screening apparatus. A body of the clamp has a front plate (20) for abutment with plate (18) of the vibratory screening apparatus. A first link (30) is pivoted at (22) to the front plate (20) and has a first contact surface. A second link (40) is pivoted at (32) to the first link and has a second contact surface. A swivel is pivoted at (42) to the second link. A bolt (60) is formed with a head (61) that projects beyond the front plate (20) and a tail that projects beyond the swivel (50). The bolt is tightenable in place by an adjusting nut (66) threaded onto the tail end thereof which in an expanded locking state of the clamp can compress spring washers (64) between itself and the swivel (50). The links (30, 40) can be moved from their release state (Fig. 2B) to their locking state (Fig. 1B) with the pivot (32) between the links preferably travelling through an "overcentre" position. Adjustment of the nut (66) with the links in the locking position permits the tension applied to the screen (93) to be adjusted after the screen has been clamped into place. Vibratory screen apparatus in which the above clamps can be used is also described.
