Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for recycling powdered paint waste and products resulting from said method. The invention relates to a method for recycling powdered paint waste, which consists in mixing said waste with reclaimed sand, arranging said mixture (2a) in a mold (1a) and heating the entire mixture in a furnace, and in then releasing the resulting product from the mold after cooling, which product constitutes a finished or semi-finished product. Inserts (3a) can be arranged in said mixture as needed. The invention likewise relates to the products resulting from said method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a system for producing composite materials from the waste of thermoplastic plastics. In the method according to the invention, the filler, favorably: pearlite, bentonite, microsphere, fly ash at a volume of 20-70% relative to the total mass of the mixture of the thermoplastic materials is subjected to a thermal pre-treatment at the temperature of 180-250°C, which is a function of the melting point of the mixture of the thermoplastic material waste, favorably polyamide, polyester, polystyrene, polypropylene (binding component), wherein the binding component was heated at the same time to the temperature in the range of 90-120°C depending on the type of the binding component, at a volume of 30-80% of the total mass of the composite material, and optionally a heat-resistant dye and stabilizer were added, then the heated components of the composite material were brought into the mixing and reducing apparatus at variable mixing speed and were mixed in the temperature regime in the range of 130-150°C in a time period of 2-3 minutes, the composite material compound obtained in such a way was brought into the pot of the transfer mold and was subjected to a compression of the hydraulic press at an adjustable compressive force in the range of 10-200 tonnes, and the composite material obtained in such a way was cooled in order to obtain the desired product. The system for producing the composite material is characterized in that the hydraulic press (1) has four working sections, the press-in section (2) of the hydraulic press (V) being used to fill the pot (3) of the transfer mold (6), the upper pressing section (4) pouring in the composite material through the upper pressure plate (5) and pressing the composite material into the transfer mold (6), the lower pressing section (7) pressing the composite material into the transfer mold (6) from below through the lower pressure plate (8) in succession, and the press-out section (9) being then used to press out the transfer mold (6) under the hydraulic press (V) onto the transporter (10).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a shaped article from a composite material comprising a solid filler and a thermoplastic binder, said process comprising the following subsequent steps: (a)feeding a solid filler and a thermoplastic binder to a kneading device; (b)mixing the solid filler and the thermoplastic binder in the kneading device, wherein the pressure exerted on the mixture of the solid filler and the thermoplastic binder is in the range of about 100 kPa to about 1500 kPa to obtain a composite material; (c)forming the composite material as obtained in step (b) into a shaped article; and (d)cooling the shaped article as obtained in step (c), wherein the shaped article is cooled at a cooling rate of at least about 5°C/min to about 120°C/min.. The shaped article is preferably a slab which can very suitable be used in the decoration of floors, kitchen work surfaces, kitchen tops, bathrooms, internal and external cladding and other two-dimensional shapes by extrusion and or injection moulding techniques.
