Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Multifunktionswerkzeug mit zwei aus einer Parallelstellung schwenkbar einander zugekehrten Griffteilen (5), und mit einem im Bereich der Schwenkstelle (7) angeordneten Werkzeug (I), wobei mindestens ein um eine Achse (8) die dem der Schwenkstelle (7) gegenüberliegenden Ende des Griffteils (5) zugeordnet ist, schwenkbares Zusatzwerkzeuge (II) zugeordnet ist, welches aus einer eingeschwenkten Verwahrstellung in eine etwa um 180° ausgeschwenkte Gebrauchsstellung gegen einen Anschlag ausschwenkbar ist, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer gebrauchsvorteilhaften Lösung vor, dass das Werkzeuge (I) ein Korkenzieher (1) ist und die beiden Griffteile (5) aus der Parallelstellung anschlagbegrenzt nur bis in eine Gestrecktlage schwenkbar sind.

The modular pocket knife is comprised of a plurality of modules each including at least a tool (12, 13) and at least a connection element (8, 11). The modules may be arranged side to side laterally according to any sequence. The connection elements are provided with an electric contact element (1) for data transmission, with a locking element (2, 4, 5) and with a sealing element so that the modules may be sealingly mechanically and electronically assembled by a nesting motion, may be locked and disassembled.

The blade (2) may be locked into position by means of sprung blade lock (31) to facilitate use of the sockets (22, 23, 24) formed within the blade (2). The body (1) of the knife is also equipped with a tool bit holder (18) for inserting screwdriver bits (43, 44) and the like. A folding hand tool set having a one-piece, completely integral, plastic handle and a plurality of hand tools rotatably mounted thereto. The one-piece, completely integral, plastic handle is preferably constructed from a fiber reinforced thermoplastic. In one embodiment, spacers are provided for mechanically isolating the hand tools. The folding hand tool set is capable of transmitting more than 110.0 Newton meters of torque without compromising the integrity of the one-piece, completely integral plastic handle. The present invention is also directed to a one-piece, completely integral, plastic handle for receiving hand tools. The handle can withstand at least 30 Newton meters of torsional force without compromising the integrity of the handle.
