A method for manufacturing hollow-core concrete slabs, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a mould (100) by suspending in the mould (100) between first and second end-pieces (201, 202) a plurality of substantially parallel elongate void formers (102); filling the mould (100) with a wet concrete mix up to the crown of the void formers (102); laying an inert pliable filamentary sheet (106) on the surface of the concrete with filaments of the sheet extending transverse to the long axes of the elongate void formers (102), the filamentary sheet (106) being restrained so as to resist movement of the concrete mix when the void formers (102) are withdrawn from the mix; further filling the mould (100) with the wet concrete mix over the filamentary sheet (106); and, subsequently forming hollow channels in the wet concrete mix by withdrawing the plurality of void formers (102) from the concrete mix through the second end-piece (202).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a block press and associated process, for dynamically forming a block mold, to produce a masonry block. In some embodiments, the block mold includes a plurality of mold elements, such as a lower impact plate, an upper impact plate, and a plurality of side plates, and can further include one or more block cores. In operation, one or more of the mold elements are moved to dynamically forming a block mold, which is then filled with product formula. The product formula is then compressed, to form a masonry block. One or more of the mold elements are then released, such as to release pressure on the formed masonry block, and to allow removal of the formed masonry block from the block press, wherein the formed masonry block can be moved to a curing area, and the block press can reform the block mold for subsequent production.

A concrete vibrator head includes an elongated body having a front end and a back end. The back end of the vibrator head is attached to a rotating shaft which causes the vibrator head to vibrate at a desired vibration frequency. The elongated body is tapered from the front end to approximately halfway towards the back end. This taper may be defined by a continuous straight line slope of the outer surface of the elongated body, or a stepped slope formed from a series of interconnected cylindrical portions of the elongated body which increase in diameter from the front end to approximately midway on the elongated body of the vibrator head.

A system for the moulding of tubular goods, comprising at least one mould having an inner mould part and an outer mould part which together define a mould cavity and an annular pouring gate upwardly, said system additionally comprising a plurality of vibrators and means for lifting the vibrators from and lowering these into the mould cavity through the annular pouring gate. The positioning devices are adapted to displace the vibrators radially with respect to the annular pouring gate, and each of the positioning devices is provided with a separate controlable drive unit which is adapted to displace the vibrators individually. This results in a more flexible system for the moulding of tubular goods which may be adapted to various pipe types, such as egg-shaped, four-sided, circular and other forms.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kanalbauteils welches einen Anschlussabschnitt (104, 106) aufweist, der dafür eingerichtet ist, mit einem an dem Kanalbauteil (100) anzuschließenden Bauteil (100), insbesondere einem benachbarten Kanalbauteil, in Kontakt zu gelangen, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst: Bereitstellen eines Grundkörpers aus Beton, Beschichten des Grundkörpers im Bereich des Anschlussabschnitts (104, 106) und im Bereich einer einem Kanalinneren (106) zugewandten Innenwandung (108) des Grundkörpers mit einem plastifizierten Kunststoffmaterial (110), und Aushärten des Kunststoffmaterials (110).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement for vibrating concrete using at least one internal vibrator (1). According to the invention, the arrangement includes a horizontally displaceable carrier (4) for the internal vibrator, which carrier comprises means (3, 4) to displace the internal vibrator in a vertical direction. The invention also relates to a method for automatically controlling the displacement pattern of the internal vibrator (1).
