摘要: A reflective vulcanized rubber footwear includes a shoe body unit (1) and at least one reflective unit (2) clad with the shoe body unit (1). The shoe body unit (1) includes a sock (11) and a rubber shoe body (12), which wraps the outside of the sock (11). The reflective unit (2) includes a reflective layer (21) and a hot melt adhesive layer (23),which connects the reflective layer (21) and adheres to the shoe body (12) before vulcanization and heat-treatment of the shoe body (12). With the hot melt adhesive of the reflective unit (2), the invention can make the reflective unit (2) adhere to the shoe body unit (1) before vulcanization and heat-treatment of the shoe body unit(1). When the shoe body unit (1) is being vulcanized and heat-treated, the hot melt adhesive is hot-melt fixed to the shoe body unit (1) more steadily. Thus, the manufacturing process will be simplified and the stability of the reflective unit (2) will be improved.

摘要: A sole structure (103) for an article of footwear (100) includes an outer sole component (106) with a co-molded flex modifier component (208). The outer sole component is formed of a first mold material, such as a rubber mold material. The flex modifier component includes a fiber material and a second mold material. The second mold material may be mold compatible with the first mold material. The sole structure may be formed by co-molding an outer sole component blank or pre-form (620, 621) (e.g., rubber mold material), and a flex modifier component, e.g., in a hot press molding process using a molding system having a mold cavity (606, 607) configured to form the outer sole component. The flex modifier component may be formed (e.g., cut or stamped) from a sheet of flex modifier material (301), such as a thermoplastic extruded hot melt film sandwiched between fusion bonded non-woven fiber fabric material impregnated with a styrene-coated polymer.

摘要: This invention refers to an innovating structural material for footwear, thermoplastic and coextruded with thermoadhesives, comprising a multilayer material. The invention also refers to a manufacturing procedure of said structural material for shoes. The structural material proposed may consist of: only a sheet of thermoplastic resins; one sheet of thermoplastic resins coupled to a substratum of woven or non-woven material on only one side; a sheet of thermoplastic resins coupled to two similar or different of woven or non-woven substrates on the two sides (right and reverse). The substrate may use, among others, the following materials: nonwoven polyester, nonwoven polypropylene, polyester web, cotton web, PVC sheet, cotton flake, jersey, mesh, etc. Its thickness may vary according to the material to be laminated. The thermoplastic sheet consists of the following layers: external layers A and C formed by thermo-reactivatable adhesives such as EVA (ethyl-vinyl-acetate), taquifying esters and auxiliary additive substances of flow, such as amides. These layers may present a different formulation among them, according to the use to be given to the structural material. Intermediate layer B formed by polyolefinic resins such as polypropylene, polyethylene or ethylene copolymers of ethylene.

摘要: Foam items may be buffed using particles such as particulate sodium bicarbonate in accordance with the present invention. Foam items may be, for example, expanded EVA foam items pre-formed into an intermediate size and shape. A skin layer may be formed during the expansion of the foam item to form an expanded foam item which may be entirely or partially removed by buffing the item using particles projected with selected buffing parameters. The buffing parameters may be varied based upon the thickness of at least a portion of the skin layer and/or the desired degree of moldability for the foam item after buffing. Particulate sodium bicarbonate or other types of particles used for buffing may be recycled and reused for further buffing of foam items.
