Abstract:
A vehicle sidelight control system is provided thatautomatically illuminates right or left sidelights inautomatic response to turning of a steering wheel ormotorcycle handlebar, or in response to a vehiclemovement that will operate a gravity-effective switch, such as the leaning of a motorcycle in a turn. In oneembodiment, the gravity-effective switch assembly furtherincorporates control logic and a wireless transmitter, making aftermarket installation a simple task. Thecontrol system is extensible to manual control and/orcooperation with signals that otherwise exist in thevehicle. The control system can be used to operatedecorative lights, or any auxiliary function that isdesired to be associated with turning of a vehicle, instead of or in addition to operating sidelights.
Abstract:
Abstract:
To provide a headlamp device for a vehicle that has LEDs as light sources, the headlamp device including a situation detection part (33) that detects a lighting status of headlamps (21, 22); and a dimming control part (35) that reduces the luminance of the headlamps (21, 22) to a prescribed value that is greater than zero based on the lighting status of the headlamps (21, 22).
Abstract:
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
Abstract:
A vehicle sidelight control system (10) is provided thatautomatically illuminates right or left sidelights (310 or 320) in automatic response to turning of a steering wheel (90) or motorcycle handle bar, or in response to a vehicle movement that will operate a gravity-effective switch, such as the leaning of a motorcycle in a turn. In one embodiment, the gravity-effective switch assembly further incorporates control system (20) and a wireless transmitter, making aftermarket installation a simple task. The control system (20) is extensible to manual control and/or cooperation with signals that otherwise exist in the vehicle. The control system (20) can be used to operate decorative lights, or any auxiliary function that isdesired to be associated with turning of a vehicle, instead of or in addition to operating sidelights (310 and 320).
