The present invention concerns a locomotive sliding window including a frame (18b), having an opening and a glass (14) arranged to slide inside the frame (18b) so as to determine a closed or an open position of the window. A weather strip is associated with the frame (18b) and is shaped so as to extend along the glass periphery in the closed position of the window. The glass (14) is associated with a locking device (15) selectively controllable for determining either an unlocking position of the glass (14), in which the glass (14) can slide, or a locking position of the glass (14), in which the glass (14) is kept pressed against the weather strip (85) and is locked, for instance, in the closed position of the window. The invention also concerns the locking device as well as a locomotive door (10) having the window according to the invention.

The present invention relates to a locomotive window comprising a frame (18b) having an opening or window, and at least one glass (14) arranged to slide in the frame (18b) so as to achieve at least closed position or an open position of the window. The window is characterised in that to the frame it is associated a weather strip shaped so as to extend on the perimeter of the glass when placed in the closed position of the window and a locking device (15) selectively controllable for determining or an unlocking position of glass (14) in which the glass (14) is arranged to slide or a locking position of the glass (14) in which the glass (14) is maintained pressed on the weather strip and locked in the closed position of the window. The invention relates also to the locking device, to a windowed locomotive door (10) and to a method for manufacturing a locomotive window or a windowed locomotive door (10) .
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for installing a fixed window and a fixed window. The invention is suited for - but not limited to use for - windows of vehicles, especially windows of passenger carriages. It is the object of the invention to provide a solution for a method for installing a fixed window and a fixed window, especially which is flush the car body, where there are no problems with leaks of water and dampness and which is easy to handle. The invention involves gluing the edges the window to the edges of the opening in the vehicle wall with glue. Because of the position of the joint the glue can simultaneously serve as a rubber sealant, glue joint and connection to the interior.
