Abstract:
Abstract:
Embodiments are directed to a spherically shaped bottle. The spherically shaped bottle may be configured to hold and dispense ingestible pills, including tablets, capsules, or other ingestible products. The spherically shaped bottle may include a container body that holds the ingestible pills within an internal volume. A cap may be pivotally coupled with the container body and configured to cover the internal volume. The cap may define a spherical outer surface of the container with the container body when closed. The spherically shaped bottle may include a neck above the internal volume configured to dispense ingestible pills when the spherically shaped bottle is tilted.
Abstract:
A cap assembly for use with multiple bottles having different size necks is provided. The assembly includes a base, at least one adapter and a lid. The base includes a compartment for storing the adapter and an opening having at least two internally threaded sections of different size and a port. The adapter includes an internally threaded opening having at least two sections of different size and an externally threaded surface having at least two sections of different size. The lid is mounted on the base for movement between a position wherein the base opening port is closed and a position wherein the base opening port is open. Additional adapters may be included. The additional adapters are configured to accept bottle necks of different sizes than the base opening and first adapter such that at least six bottles with different size necks can be used with the assembly.
Abstract:
The side wall (8), extending below a shoulder (5) of the thermoplastic bottle (1), has a gripping portion (4) formed substantially in the middle of the bottle body and includes a first line (PL1) and a second line (PL2) each defined in a vertical symmetry plane (PL1). The second line (PL2) has a second point (11 a) at minimal distance ds2 between the side wall and the central axis, while the first line (PL1) has a first point (19a) at minimal distance ds1 between the first line (PL1) and the central axis (Z). For these particular points in the gripping portion: • ds2
Abstract:
A dispenser (1) for dispensing a liquid is disclosed. The dispenser (1) comprises an outlet (5) for dispensing a liquid, a reservoir (2) for liquid, and a closure (3) configured to engage with the dispenser (1) and movable between a closed position in which the outlet (5) is enclosed and an open position in which the outlet (5) is not enclosed. The dispenser (1) further comprises an arrangement (4) for controlling liquid communication between the reservoir (2) and the outlet (5), the arrangement (4) and reservoir (2) movable with respect to each other between a first configuration in which the reservoir (2) is not in liquid communication with the outlet (5) and a second configuration in which the reservoir (2) is in liquid communication with the outlet (5). By requiring a second movement after removal of the closure accidental access or dispensing of the contents may be avoided or reduced.
Abstract:
A glass bottle body made up by a neck (11) jointed in continuity to a receptacle tubular wall (10), said bottle body being closed by a bottom wall (14) placed on a bottle end side opposite regarding said neck, defining said bottom wall a receptacle (20) capable of holding liquids, wherein said bottom wall is extended, in a perimeter area, by a base tubular wall (15) that internally defines a cavity (21), said base tubular wall and the receptacle tubular wall being in opposite sides of the bottom wall; and the average height of the base tubular wall being equal to or larger than the average thickness of the base tubular wall (G15), being the contents of the bottle highlighted by two laterally visible layers of the bottom of the bottle, producing a stand effect.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides new closure and finish structures suited for small and light-weight carbonated beverage packaging that provide surprisingly improved carbonation retention and greater shelf life, while still achieving light weight. This closure and finish presented herein are particularly suited to small PET containers for carbonated beverages, for example less than or about 400 mL and provide good carbonation retention and shelf life.
Abstract:
A container assembly includes a body having an exterior sidewall which encloses a hollow interior. The body also includes a closed end and an access opening allowing access to the hollow interior. The container assembly also includes a lid disposable between a stored orientation or a closing position over the access opening. The stored orientation includes the lid disposed on or in a support portion disposed on the exterior sidewall. The container assembly also includes a retaining assembly including correspondingly disposed tabs and slots on the inner periphery of the lid and the outer periphery of the body. The retaining assembly provides an secure but removable locking engagement of the lid when in a closing position.
Abstract:
A reinforced base(l) for a plastics bottle (12), having an annular rim (2)upon which the bottle rests; a concave dome (3) bounded by the rim, with the concavity facing the outside of the bottle body. The dome comprises three regions: (i) an outer (4), annular region, adjacent the rim; (ii) an in inner (5), circular region, at the centre of said dome; and (iii) a middle (6), annular region, between the outer and inner regions. A number of spaced apart geometrical configurations (7) in the form of closed polygonal or circular formations are located on middle annular region of the dome, whereas the outer annular region, which comprises at least 7.5% of the area of the dome, is free of said geometrical configurations. Variants with convex wall portions are also included.
