Abstract:
A customizable pallet is disclosed that includes a plurality of length members, and a plurality of width members that are connected through a plurality of connecting members. Each length member includes a plurality of circular projections having a first circular holder positioned therein. Each first circular holder has a circular groove defined therein. Each width member includes a plurality of circular grooves having a second circular holder positioned therein. The second circular holder has a circular projection defined therein. The connecting members facilitate connection between the circular projections of the width members and the circular grooves of the length members.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A portable spill containment system that includes at least one grate that supports a container. The grate includes a plurality of drain holes. The portable spill containment system also includes a flexible bag that contains leakage from the container that passes through the drain holes of the grate. The portable spill containment system also includes a plurality of pedestals that support the at least one grate.
Abstract:
A weldless aluminum pallet has slats that interlock with outside and inside stringers to form the pallet without need for permanent attachment points. Grooves in the stringers receive a projection on each slat, holding the slat in place. Preferably, a single projection extends along the length of the slat body. The projection is shaped to cooperate with the groove such that the slat attaches perpendicularly to the stringers. The groove is shaped to retain the slat's projection by friction fit, creating an interlocking joint. The front and rear slats on each face may be fastened to the stringers by screws or other removable fasteners. Pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy may be used, and the material may be tempered using known tempering techniques. The preferred material is 100% recycled 6005-T6 aluminum alloy. The parts are preferably extruded but alternatively may be molded or otherwise die cast.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a collapsible supporting device used for shipment and storage of materials with or without a supporting mandrel, using links (4), tongues (8) and sleeves (14) in a system to engage and secure the assembly. The supporting device includes a horizontal supporting strut (11) with a double supporting system (12) and (13) which is used to provide support to materials such as rolls having rolling axes (for example, tubes made of iron, wood, etc) or directly supported tubular mandrels. When disassembled, the supporting device may be compacted up to a ratio of about 7.5 times compared to its assembled volume.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A pallet system includes a pallet body. The pallet body is formed from a first, independently formed first portion and a second blow molded second upper portion insert molded to the first portion. The pallet body may have two to eight recesses for forklift truck fork access. The second upper portion has a generally rectangular surface for carrying loads. The portions may have anti-skid properties, for example, a knurled topside surface or rubber coated bottom. At least one foot is attached to the second upper portion by insert molding. At least one runner may be attached to each foot to form part of the first portion. At least one stringer is attached to each runner to add further stability to the pallet. The runners and feet have channels or protruding members to effectively mate with the second upper portion.
Abstract:
A transport unit comprises a package (3) enclosed by a casing (2), said package (3) comprising a stack (5) of insulation panels (6) which is carried by supporting elements (4). The supporting elements (4) and the insulation panels (6) are made of a material usable for insulation purposes. The transport unit is characterised in that the casing (2) enclosing the package (3) comprises a first hood (7) and a second hood (8). The hoods (7, 8) are arranged on the package (3) respectively from a first side (9) and an opposite second side (10) thereof and are joined together in a portion (11) along which the hoods (7, 8) overlap. The present invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such a transport unit.
