Abstract:
The service capsule (20) comprises: - an outer skirt (32), - a transverse wall (34) defining at least one outlet orifice (48). The service capsule (20) includes, for each orifice (48), a dispensing conduit (36) defining a dispensing passage (51). The service capsule (20) includes a closing cap (40), mounted moving between a clear position and a position applied on the transverse wall (34). A filter (38) is arranged upstream from and/or in the product dispensing conduit (36), and is configured so that the cosmetic product (12) in the container (18) necessarily passes through the filter (38) when the product (12) is extracted from the container (18) through the service capsule (20). The filter (38) is integral with the product dispensing conduit (36).
Abstract:
A bi-stable, snap-action closure has a body (24) connected with a hinge structure (28) to a lid (26). The hinge structure (28) includes central web portion (100) between two outer tension spring web portions (102). The central web portion (100) has an arcuate configuration that is (1) convex on the exterior side (116) of the central web portion (100) and (2) concave on the interior side (120) of the central web portion (100) when the lid (26) is in a self-maintained stable first position,
Abstract:
A dispensing closure (10) is provided and hasa top cap (30) comprising a base (40) and a lid (45) attached or attachable to the base. The base is connectable to a container (20). The closure further comprisesa shroud member (35) with which the top cap can be docked to determine at least in part of the profile of the closure.
Abstract:
A flip-top dispensing closure ( 10) comprising a generally cylindrical base ( 15), and a lid (20), the closure having a drinking spout (25) provided on or by the base which is engagable by a user's mouth and through which product can be dispensed, the lid being articulated with respect to the base at the rear of the closure, in which the spout profile is asymmetric about a midline (M) generally defining front and rear spout profiles (27, 28) and in which the rear profile (28) is inclined towards the front of the closure.
Abstract:
A push button, flip top closure for a container, includes a base portion, a push button actuator situated on the base portion and twistingly mounted thereon to pivotally rotate with respect to the base portion, a central cap having an orifice formed through the thickness thereof, the push button actuator at least partially surrounding the central cap, and a lid hingedly mounted to the base portion and positionable between at least a closed position to cover the orifice formed in the central cap and an open position to uncover the orifice formed in the central cap. The push button actuator selectively forces the lid to pivot to the open position to allow the contents of the container on which the closure is mounted to pass through the orifice in the central cap.
Abstract:
A moulded closure for a blow moulded bottle of the type in which drinks, sauces and shampoos are sold has two parts. The screw cap (14) has an integral nozzle and a tamper proof band (24) connecting it to the bottle neck. The nozzle is covered by a cover (36) hinged to a ring (38) which is captive to the screw cap. The ring is free to rotate beneath a projecting bead (32) on the screw cap and the hinge (46, 48) flexes to allow arcuate displacement of the cover to one side of the nozzle and an integral tongue (46 )allows the user to park the cover at 120° to the nozzle. Tongue (46) arrests the cover at 160° to the nozzle when the user tilts the cover further open and tongue (46) snaps over the bead (32). The cover (36) is attached to the ring (38) initially by frangible bridges (42) so that the ring acts as a second tamper proof band.
Abstract:
A one-push openable cap mechanism, in which a cap and a plug can be easily opened in one-push action by fingers. Specifically, a cap mechanism provided with a hinge (4) and used with a container (15), comprising hook mechanisms (8, 9) formed on the sides of a cap body (1) and a cover respectively (2) and wedge-shaped in their directions and turning, a spout (10) formed on the cap body (1), a plug (11) formed on the cover, the spout and the plug being inclined at the same angle in the direction of turning, two slits (6, 6) provided to extend from the cap body (1) to the cover (2) across the hinge (4), bends (7), respectively, provided on the ends of the two slits (6, 6) on the cover (2), and a pressure releasing portion (5) comprising a portion surrounded by the portions of the two slits (6, 6) on the cap body (1) and positions thereof reaching the cover (2). In the opening action, a user holds the container (15) in one hand and performs one-push manipulation on the pressure releasing portion (5) in the direction of turning with fingers of the same hand to release fastened hooks (8, 9) on the turning side to separate the plug (11) and the cover (2) formed at the same inclination angle up to a necessary angle in one action from the spout (10), which is also inclined in the direction of turning. To attain integral formation of the cap, along with an assured hooking function and closability and reliable opening operability and appropriate pouring of the contents, directionality is set which is common to the formation of the cap and the opening action of the cap.
Abstract:
A one-piece dispenser cap (12) adapted for the controlled dispensing of liquids in droplet form is particularly configured to enable the use of a living hinge (50) and closure cover (48) combination that is of convenient size to reduce the complexity and cost of construction of the device. The described cap construction includes a funnel surface (76) for directing fluid for discharge whereby dispensing of substantially all of the fluid from the container (10) is insured. Appropriate sealing structure (78) prevents contamination of the contained liquid and use of the living hinge (50) uncomplicatedly prevents interference by the closure cover (48) with liquid as it is dispensed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hinged closure, preferably made by the plastic injection moulding process, with a snap-on effect, with an upper (O) and a lower (U) closure section in which there is a spring component (F) attached via an articulation (2, 3) and based in both the upper (O) and the lower (U) section of the closure, whereby one hinge axis (x-x) of the hinged closure differs geometrically from both articulations (2, 3) and the spring component (F) is angled and a first leg (4) of the spring component (F) is arranged substantially in an outer wall of the lower (U) or upper (O) closure section, and proposes, in order to provide a structurally simple system with a good snap-on action and a protected arrangement of its working parts, that the second leg (5) be radially staggered inwards in relation to the first leg (4) and that both legs (4, 5) be substantially completely fitted in the region of either the upper (O) or the lower (U) section of the closure.
