A tray or similar container (10) comprising a panel folded and glued so as to define, in a condition of use thereof: - a base ( 2 ); - a plurality of walls (4, 6, 8, 12) around said base connected to said base via a first set of folding lines (51, 53, 55, 57); and - at least one partition (14, 16) that runs through said base starting from a first wall (12) of said plurality of walls, or a region in the proximity of said first wall, up to a second wall (6) of said plurality of walls opposite to said first wall, or a region in the proximity of said second wall. The tray is characterized in that it can be configured in a flattened condition of minimal encumbrance.

A deployable structure, comprising: a first construction unit comprising a spacing module and a first flange module, wherein: the spacing module comprises first, second, third and fourth sheet units that are hinged together; the first flange module comprises fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth sheet units that are hinged together; and the spacing module and first flange module are connected together by hinges in such a way as to be switchable by rotation about the hinges between: a storage state in which the first to eighth sheet units are substantially coplanar; and a deployed state in which the first flange module is compressed in two orthogonal directions relative to the storage state.

The present disclosure provides a packaging insert for use with ice cream, frozen yogurt, or other foods or substances. The packaging insert comprises a first portion contiguous to a second portion along a first line; a third portion contiguous to the second portion along a second line, and a fourth portion contiguous to the third portion along a third line; wherein the first portion, second portion, third portion, and fourth portions are part of a single piece of material, a back surface of the second portion is adjacent a back surface of the third portion, and the first line is positioned adjacent the third line.

A packaging divider (10) formed of a single rectangular cardboard sheet element (12). The sheet element (12) defines three die cut slits (14) in spaced aligment with respect to one another along a common axis A and a number of spaced parallel creases (22) disposed perpendicularly with respect to said common axis A. The sheet element is divided into two sheet portions (24.1 and 24.2). In an erected condition of the packaging divider, the sheet portions (24.1 and 24.2) are folded over with respect to one another about said common axis A until the portions are disposed back-to-back. The sheet element (12) is concertinaed in a direction along the slits (14) thereby forming parallel channel formations (26) in the sheet element portions. In the erected condition of the packaging divider (10), the slits (14) are displaced into open star-shaped configurations, with elongate spaced parallel passages (28) being defined between the sheet element portions.

The at least one second major tab and at least one second minor tab are hinged to the intermediate panel. The second side panel includes at least one third tab hinged thereto. The at least one first tab is secured to one of the at least one second major tab or the at least one second minor tab.

Abstract:
Shipping containers (100) that are convertible to display containers are disclosed. The containers comprise wrap around outer shells (40) of the general type known as "Bliss" wraps, in combination with interior vertical support structures (10). The invention presents improved two- and three-piece container constructions, having improved side-to-end panel connections for improved tray strength upon conversion to a display configuration, as well as a variety or interior divider/support options. By advantageous adhesive application together with specialized opening structures such as tear strips (60, 62), lines of weakness and/or hand holes, various different conversion configurations are provided.
