The present package is formed from a bag construct that entirely surrounds a blank construct and that can be folded from a flat configuration to a carton configuration. The blank construct has five sides, including four sides and a bottom side, and an open top. The bag construct surrounds all four sides, the bottom, and the open top. The package includes a dispensing flap that provides access to contents, and the dispensing flap can be hinged about a hinge line or that can be removed entirely from the package. Any variance in density of product in the package can be accommodated by the stiff, yet flexible, sides of the package.

The present invention relates to an opening device comprising a first portion on one side of a fibre based packaging laminate and a second portion on an opposite side of the fibre based packaging laminate, the first and second portion being formed in one and the same piece and joined by at least one material bridge extending through the packaging laminate. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the opening device and to a packaging material to be used is such a method.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a method for manufacturing a pour opening in packaging container for a liquid substance. In the method a first hole of predetermined size and shape is formed in the base layer (2) made of fibre-based material of a packaging laminate (1), after which the surface of the base layer is laminated on one side with at least one first thermoplastic layer (4) to form a surface film. In accordance with the invention a second hole of predetermined size and shape is formed in the surface film at the location of the first hole, the edges (5) of which second hole are inside the edges of the first hole (3), the surface opposite to at least one first thermoplastic layer of the base layer is laminated with at least one further thermoplastic layer (6), the hole in the surface layer is furnished with a pull tab (7), and the further thermoplastic layer (6) and the pull tab (7) attached on opposite sides of the hole penetrating the surface layer and the base layer are joined together in the area of the hole by application of heat and pressure in such a way that the parts of the first and the second thermoplastic layers (4,6) covering the first hole are heated to softening temperature and treated in such a way that they are shaped so as to enclose between them the raw edge (5) of the hole in the base layer.

The invention concerns a container (1) for material which can be sprinkled or poured, in particular for sugar. The container (1) according to the invention is characterized in that it tapers from a base (2) to a removal opening. In order to form a removal opening, the upper end region of the container (1), for example, can be torn off. The container (1) according to the invention can be manufactured with little expenditure on material and the finished container (1) is particularly hygienic to use.

Dispositivo de apertura que permite el vaciado completo de recipientes de envasado fabricados a partir de un material laminado, generalmente con un núcleo de papel o cartón, cubierto por ambos lados de material plástico termosellado, generalmente polietileno, empleados para contener productos alimenticios vertibles, que comprende unas líneas de rasgadura (5), consistentes en incisiones realizadas en las capas externas del material laminado que conforman el envase (1), que o bien parten de los lados del perímetro interno del orificio de vertido (4) o bien rodean al perímetro del sistema de apertura (2) del envase y que convergen en el vértice (3), u opcionalmente, la arista más próxima (8) del envase (1), u opcionalmente se sitúan transversalmente en una de las aristas laterales (10) del envase (1). La invención actúa o bien por la acción del consumidor sobre el sistema de apertura resellable (2), al desplazar a este en dirección al vértice (3) o arista (8) de vertido se produce el despegado parcial del sistema de apertura resellable (2) desde el envase (1) y/o la rotura de las líneas de rasgadura (5), gracias a la sujeción proporcionada por las perforaciones (7), con el consiguiente desprendimiento del sistema de apertura resellable (2) del envase (1), o bien por la presión ejercida por el consumidor sobre las líneas de rasgadura (5), empleando al sistema de apertura resellable (2) modificado, una vez separado este del envase (1), al que se dota para este fin de un elemento cortante o punzante (9). En ambos casos se crea una abertura que permite la salida completa del líquido contenido en el envase (1).
