Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verschlussvorrichtung (1) zum Verschließen einer Behälteröffnung (3) eines Behälters (2), insbesondere einer Getränkeflasche, wobei die Verschlussvorrichtung (1) ein Deckelelement (4), eine an dem Deckelelement (4) angeordnete Kammer (6) und ein Innengehäuse (5) aufweist, wobei die Kammer (6) und das Innengehäuse (5) zueinander korrespondierende Verschlussmittel und Öffnungsmittel aufweisen, welche so in Wechselwirkung zueinander stehen, dass ein in der Kammer (6) enthaltenes Medium aufgrund einer Bewegung des Deckelelementes (4) relativ zu dem Innengehäuse (5) in den Behälter (2) austreten kann. Um eine alternative Verschlussvorrichtung geschaffen werden, welche besonders einfach und insbesondere aus möglichst wenig Einzelkomponenten herzustellen ist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Verschlussmittel ein mit der Kammer (6) fest verbundener Verschlusszapfen (7) ist, welcher durch eine Bewegung des Deckelelementes (4) relativ zu dem Innengehäuse (5) aus einer das Öffnungsmittel bildenden Verschlussöffnung (8) des Innengehäuses (5) entfernbar ist.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verschlussvorrichtung (1) für einen Behälter (2), insbesondere einen Glasbehälter, mit einer Behälteröffnung (3), wobei die Verschlussvorrichtung (1) ein Deckelelement (4) zum Verschließen der Behälteröffnung (3), eine an dem Deckelelement (4) angeordnete Kammer (6) und ein Innengehäuse (5) aufweist, wobei Kammer (6) und Innengehäuse (5) zueinander korrespondierende Verschlussmittel (7) und Öffnungsmittel (9) aufweisen, welche so in Wechselwirkung zueinander stehen, dass eine der Kammer (6) zugeordnete Ablassöffnung (8) durch eine Bewegung des Deckelelementes (4) relativ zu dem Innengehäuse (5) freigebbar ist, so dass ein in der Kammer (6) bevorratetes Medium in den Behälter (2) austreten kann, und die Kammer (6) und das Innengehäuse (5) jeweils korrespondierende und bezüglich einer Gewindedrehachse (19) ausgebildete erste Gewindemittel (10) aufweisen. Um eine Verschlussvorrichtung zu schaffen, welche sich insbesondere zum Verschluss eines Glasbehälters eignet, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Kammer (6) einen ersten Bereich (A) oberhalb der ersten Gewindemittel (10) und einen zweiten Bereich (B) unterhalb und/oder in horizontaler Überdeckung zu den ersten Gewindemitteln (10) aufweist, wobei bezogen auf die Gewindedrehachse (18) der erste Bereich (A) radial größer ausgestaltet ist als der zweite Bereich (B).

Some embodiments are directed to a bodily fluid sample collection device for the collection of naturally expressed bodily fluids and include a cap engageable with a tube to close a mouth of the tube. The cap includes a chamber for containing a reagent. The tube defines at least partly a sample collection space for receiving the naturally expressed bodily fluid. The cap comprises first and second cap portions relatively movable with respect to each other. The first and second cap portions are configured such that, responsive to engagement of the cap on the tube, one of the cap portions is caused to move integrally relative to the other cap portion to open the chamber and permit fluid communication between the chamber and the sample collection space. The reagent in the chamber is thereby permitted to mix with the bodily fluid in the sample collection space. A method of organizing and processing samples is also described.

A dispensing cap system (150) for dispensing a supplement material through a bottle neck opening and into the bottle. An exemplary embodiment includes a cap member (160) configured for connection to beverage bottle necks of different sizes. A seal member (172) is arranged to provide a liquid seal against the neck opening. A valve member (190) passes through a storage member (210) attached to the cap member (160), and is configured for movement between a storage position and a dispensing position, in which passage is permitted of the supplement material from the storage member (210) into the bottle. A nipple member (200) may be positioned over the valve member (190) to allow the bottle contents to be utilized or consumed.

A closure assembly has a closure cap (2) adapted to be fitted to the neck of container to close the container. The cap (2) has an upper wall (4) and a cylindrical skirt (5) depending therefrom. A reservoir (7) is formed on the underside of the upper wall (4) radially within the skirt (5) and has a dispensing opening (9). A closing member (3) is fitted into the closure cap (2) to close the dispensing opening in the reservoir. When the closure cap (2) is removed from the container, the closing member (3) remains held within the neck of the container and is separated from the closure cap so that the dispensing opening is opened and material contained therein is dispensed into the container. The closure cap is provided with sealing mans for directly sealing against the neck of a container such as an annular wall (12) extendin downwardly from the underside of the upper wall of the closure cap (2) to fit sealingly into the neck of the container.

A dispenser comprises a housing that has a removable tamper proof protective cap and tamper proof ring and is threaded to a container. The container, which is the main package, holds the supplemental component. The housing holds the first component into a plunger type chamber in a fully retracted position and is sealed from the supplemental component. The chamber has a delivery end that is closed before use. When pushed all the way in, the chamber's delivery end becomes open and delivers the first component into the main package.
