    摘要: A pre-filled syringe is disclosed, comprising a barrel and a plunger, the barrel having an outlet, the barrel containing a pharmaceutically acceptable solution having a non-physiological pH, wherein the syringe further comprises an ion exchange material. The ion exchange material is provided at a position to allow contact with the pharmaceutically acceptable solution upon ejection of the pharmaceutically acceptable solution from the barrel via the outlet. The ion exchange material is capable of adjusting the pH of the solution from a non-physiological pH, at which the pharmaceutically acceptable solution is stored in order to ensure acceptable shelf life, to a more physiological pH at which the discomfort and/or pain experienced during injection may be alleviated.

    摘要: An apparatus for mixing a fluid material and a solid material comprises (a) a barrel; (b) a plunger displaceable within the barrel; (c) a slider disposed within the barrel between the fluid and solid materials. The slider, when reciprocatively displaced within the barrel, is permeable by the fluid material and the solved solid material under a pressure differential between the fluid and solid materials. The pressure differential is multiply exerted to the slider by the plunger such that a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

    摘要: This invention relates to a discharge spout assembly for a container and a container incorporating such a discharge spout. More specifically, the invention relates to a discharge spout assembly for a pouch-like container having first and second mixable substances contained therein separately from one another until time of use. The discharge spout assembly includes a pair of supporting arms, spaced from one another across a passageway through which a flowable substance is operatively capable of flowing through, and locatable within the container. The periphery of each of the support arms is curved thereby to support the container across the support arms in a manner that alleviates the container from folding on itself and pinching shut flow of the flowable substance to a discharge spout assembly.

    摘要: The proposed design relates to baby feeding vessels. A formula-mixing bottle comprises a first container with a bottom, a second container with a bottom formed by the closure member of a valve, and a cap. The bottom of the second container is formed by a closure member in the form of a raisable disk of a disk valve. The closure member of the raisable valve is in the form of a disk having a screw shaft disposed on one side thereof, and the inside surface of the second container has a seal disposed thereon which forms a seat for the disk of the closure member. The screw shaft is provided with a guide groove and is disposed inside a retaining sleeve which has an arrester mounted in the opening thereof such as to be capable of interacting with the guide groove, said arrester restricting rotation of the screw shaft of the disk of the closure member. The proposed bottle has a simplified structure as a result of the use of elements having a less complex form.
