A container assembly for storing one or more arrays of flat elongate articles is provided. The assembly includes a container body having a base, a sidewall extending vertically from the base, a dispensing opening and an interior space. The container further includes a lid optionally linked to the container body by a hinge. The lid is configured to seat on the container body and cover the dispensing opening when the lid is closed. The assembly further includes an insert disposed within the interior space of the container body. The insert is adapted to hold at least one array of flat elongate articles in a generally vertical and optionally slightly slanted storage position. The insert includes a platform adapted to hold a first flat elongate article in an array higher than an adjacent second flat elongate article in the same array.

The present invention relates a device for storing and dispensing a fluid. The device includes an elongated container, an outlet component, and a movable dispensing component. The present invention also relates to a kit that includes the device of the present invention and a filling attachment for refilling the device with a fluid. The present invention also relates to a kit that includes a compilation of component parts comprising the elongated container, the outlet component, and the movable dispensing component of the device of the present invention. The kit can further include a filament for directly or indirectly anchoring the movable dispensing component to the elongated container. The kit can also include a filling attachment comprising a attachment end and an adapter end. The present invention further relates to a method for storing a fluid, a method for dispensing a fluid, and a method for storing, dispensing, and refilling a fluid.

The problem relates to construction of container with lid that enables cabbage pickling by anaerobic process, that is, fermentation without presence of oxygen, that results in quality pickled cabbage adequate for human nutrition. The invention comprises the cabbage pickling container (A), with inner lid that may be embodied in one of the two ways: single-part lid (B), and two-part lid (C). The container is designed as a roller, of constant diameter along its entire height. The single-part lid (B) is shaped as a saucer having the bottom (4) and the vertical lateral wall (5). The two-part lid (C) has the open circular collar (7) and the shallow receptacle (11) that by its bent edge (14) leans against the inner lateral wall (10) of the circular collar. The entire lid bottom surface is constantly in contact with the cabbage, thus preventing the detrimental influence of the surrounding air to the cabbage pickling process. Outer diameters of the lids are slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the container, which enables them to freely move by the container's entire height. Such containers are particularly practical for household processing, but are also useful in large agricultural plants.

The present invention provides a contact lens package in which the overall internal depth of the package is less than the natural sagittal depth of the contact lens. Different single-use contact lens package shapes and configurations may be used. In some embodiments, a spring disc is included in the packages to help present the contact lens to the user when the package is opened. The contact lens packages may be adhered or clipped to a card or other carrier sheet, and may be housed in a number of different secondary packages.

A cutting tool is provided for use with cartridges of the type having a nozzle connector (3) with a moulded seal (5) across an outer end thereof. The tool comprises a body (10) having a socket therein for receiving the nozzle connector (3), means within the socket for engaging with the nozzle connector to prevent removal of the tool from the connector when fitted thereon, and a cutting blade (5) slidable within the body from an inoperative position within the body, to an operative position wherein the blade pierces the nozzle connector where- by rotation of the tool relative to the nozzle connector separates the seal and the tool from the remainder of the cartridge, permitting removal therefrom.
