    摘要： A one piece container including a body defining a receptacle and a lid connected to the body with a hinge. The lid includes a flange extending from an inner surface of the lid. The lid is movable between an open position thereby permitting access to the receptacle, and a closed position thereby restricting access to the receptacle. In the closed position, the flange of the lid extends into the receptacle to form a seal between a curved outer surface of the flange and a smooth inner surface of the body. The one piece container is formed as a single unit and may include a desiccant in the body or lid.

    摘要： A molded pulp base container sprayed with a barrier and a sealant layer, used as a heat-able package for on-the-go (OTG) food products is disclosed. The container by itself, in one embodiment, is used for microwave/oven heating the food contents in the container, eliminating the need for a separate susceptor or an additional package for heating. The inside surface of the container is spray coated with a food safe poly layer to create a moisture/oxygen barrier for shelf life stability. A sealant layer is directly applied on top of the barrier layer to provide hermesicity for the container. Adding a brine solution and a percentage of sodium to the finished package formulation, selectively heats the food contents of the package while keeping the package itself cool enough to handle. In another system embodiment, a condiment package is fitted to a formed top of the container.

    摘要： A tamper-evident container formed by thermoforming includes a tub having a bottom and a sidewall forming an interior volume. The container has a lid with an edge extending peripherally outward therefrom which is configured to mate with the tub edge to close the container. The lid edge has an inner portion and an outer portion with a perforated section therebetween. The perforated section extends continuously around the entire periphery of the lid, whereby the outer portion forms a tamper-evident seal removable from the inner portion for removing the lid from the tub. Texture elements are distributed around the outer portion of the lid edge which are configured to provide a visual indication of the presence of the tamper-evident seal. The tub edge is disposed beneath the outer portion of the lid edge and extends peripherally outward so that a substantial part of the outer portion of the lid edge does not extend below the tub edge in a vertical direction of the container in an upright orientation. A tab extends from the outer portion of the lid edge and below the tub edge in the vertical direction of the container.
