Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve for a pressure container (1), such as a keg for a soft drink, beer and the like, comprising a keg neck (2) to be fixed to the pressure container (1) and an inside member (4) including a shut-off element (7), which fits in an opening of the keg neck. The keg neck and the inside member comprise means, with which the inside member can be screwed down in the keg neck. The keg neck and the inside member each comprise an edge (16, 17) and/or a surface (18, 20), which edges and/or surfaces abut once the inside member is screwed down in the keg neck.
Abstract:
Holder (1) for beverages, whereby the holder comprises a rigid outer holder (2) that is provided with a mouth (7) for inserting a flexible inner holder (3), whereby the holder (1) also comprises an adapter, (5) that is designed to be provided on the mouth (7) and which is designed to be coupled to a coupling element (4) of such an inner holder (3), so that in this way an inner holder (3), with a coupling element (4) that is too small to be provided on the mouth (7) directly, can nonetheless be provided on the mouth (7), characterised in that the outer holder (2) and the adapter (5) are fitted with complementary first means (9, 26) to lock their mutual position when they are coupled, whereby the locking is repeatedly reversible.
Abstract:
A valve fitting ('spear') is described with two independent safety features, if the spear is unscrewed a small amount then firstly the projection on the tamper evident member will stop any further unscrewing. The projection is now acting as a safety device to prevent the spear from coming out any further. However by cutting the tamper evident member and removing the projection the spear can be unscrewed further. The cutting of the tamper evident member and removal of the projection demonstrates that someone has tampered with the spear. So when the projection is removed the spear can be unscrewed further but then the smaller thread comes against the thread in the neck and this prevents the spear from coming out while at the same time the pressurised gas in the keg has a quick escape passage Z to atmosphere through the aperture in the keg neck. This again for a second time renders the spear safe from blow out.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for mixing are provided in which a dispenser (10) is used to dispense liquid from a disposable package (12) that is combined with a disposable mixer (14) and a tube (18). The mixer (14) includes tamper evident seals (60 and 62) over its mixing fluid inlet (50) and discharge outlet (54). These tamper evident seals (60 and 62) are removed before dispensing.
Abstract:
A valve assembly is disclosed for filling a bag with beer where the bag is contained in a beer keg having an aperture. The valve assembly has a valve body assembly adapted to be secured in the keg aperture. The valve assembly has an anti-tamper ring that has a plurality of tongue protrusions for mating reception with a locating groove or indentations in the neck of the a valve assembly for an alcohol beverage container. The anti-tamper ring also closes a vent opening of an air relief passageway that extends through the valve body assembly.
Abstract:
A valve fitting for the bung hole outlet (51) of a cask (50) has a body part (54) carrying the valve assembly (56, 57) and extractor tube (55). Threading (62) engages the internal threading (52) of the outlet (51). The top plate (59) of the fitting is a separate ring which engages the threading (52) by threading (60). This arrangement provides a safeguard against removal of the fitting from the cask. Removing the top plate (59) leaves the valve assembly (53) intact with no means of applying purchase to achieve unscrewing of the fitting. A special tool may be used to remove the fitting (53) if required.

Abstract:
A vessel for liquids is described, made of plastic material of the keg type, comprising: a delivering tap (1) composed of a main body (7.1); a covering device (9.1) equipped with two turrets (9.3) for entering gas and exiting liquid into/from the body (7.1); two pistons (8.1) operatively coupled to the turrets (9.3) for controlling their opening and closing; two bottoms (10.1) operatively coupled with the pistons (8.1) for controlling their operation; and a tampering-preventing seal (11.1) placed on the covering device (9.1) in order to prevent an undesired external access to said turrets (9.3) with an integrated degassing device (11.8) for degassing the vessel at the end of its life favouring its correct recycling; and a neck (12.2) of the vessel connected to the delivering tap (1) and equipped with internal and external forgery-preventing means (12.3, 12.1) to cooperate with the tampering-preventing seal (11.1).
Abstract:
Tapping head (1), having means (31) for fixing to a mouth (B) of a pressurised drink container, a plunger (4) having an axial through channel (41), through which a tube (2) is insertable, said plunger (4) being inserted in, and constrained to, said body (3), so as to be vertically movable between a lowered position, for opening said mouth, and a raised position, for closing said mouth, an activating lever (5) rotatably coupled with said body (3) and with said plunger (4), said lever being movable between a first position, corresponding to said lowered position of said plunger, and a second position, corresponding to said raised position of said plunger. Said head (1) comprises a safety system (6) wherein, when said activating lever passes from said first to said second position, a moving means (60', 60") moves a breaking element (63), which breaks said tube, making it unusable.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sealing device (1) for mounting in a fluid passage (7) of a connection piece (5) such as beer extractor tube for a beer keg (13) characterised in that the sealing device (1) is adapted to be permanently-deformed when it is removed from said fluid passage (7).
