Abstract:
A dispense valve mounting block has a housing having a housing wall. The housing wall has an outlet and forms a conduit. The outlet is connectable to a beverage dispenser and is in thermal communication with the conduit so that a cooling medium that flows through said conduit cools a liquid flowing out of the outlet.
Abstract:
The beverage dispensing system includes a dispensing faucet defining a flow path, a valve head in the flow path movable between a closed position in sealed contact with a valve seat, and an open position. An actuator is manually movable to operate the faucet, and a biasing element is cooperable with the actuator and valve head such that an initial movement of the actuator will automatically cause sufficient energy to be stored or loaded in the biasing element for moving the valve head to the open position but without doing so. Occurrence of a subsequent predetermined event such as a further movement of the actuator will cause the stored energy to be automatically released to rapidly or nearly instantaneously move the valve head to the open position. As a result, no instruction or skill is required to operate the faucet to uniformly dispense pressurized beverages such as draught beer.
Abstract:
A semi-frozen beverage dispenser with an improved flow proportioning mechanism is provided. In a filling cycle, a first valve regulating the syrup flow opens first to deliver a predetermined volume before it closes and a second valve regulating the water flow opens to deliver a volume according to the desired water to syrup ratio. A common flow sensor measures the liquid flow volume for both the syrup and water and provides the information to the control system. If it takes too long to deliver the expected volume, the system gives out a liquid-low warning.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a fitment assembly used for dispensing liquids from flexible bags. The connector engages a valved fitment for a container for holding and dispensing fluid. The fitment includes a spout connected to the container and a sliding internal valve body and an external valve body securely positioned within the spout. The connector has a fitment end mateable with the fitment so as to compress the top edge of the external valve body so as to form a seal between the external valve body and the dispensing connector. The external valve body through circumferentially placed apertures allows for substantially complete drainage of the flexible bag.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing carbonated water through a typical kitchen faucet. The faucet-integrated carbonation system can include a carbonated water reservoir coupled to a residential or commercial cold water supply line as well as a CO 2 tank, all of which can be mounted under a kitchen countertop or the like. The water held in the reservoir can be carbonated using the CO 2 when a user activates a CO 2 activation mechanism. The system can further include a carbonated water on/off valve for dispensing carbonated water from the carbonated water reservoir via a waterway with an outlet disposed at the end of the faucet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve dispensing system that can be used in a beverage dispenser. In particular, the valve dispensing system has individual valve module components that control the flow of a beverage or beverage component, and a plurality of valve module components may be combined to form a system capable of dispensing a plurality of beverages and/or beverage components.
Abstract:
A device for tapping a liquid foodstuff consisting of a double-walled keg (1) and a tap installation, the keg (1) being formed by a non- def ormable outer container (28) with a deformable inner container (37) therein, which can contain the liquid foodstuff to be tapped, the inner and outer containers (37, 38) being connected gas-tight with one another and the tap installation being mounted on the outer container (28) and reaching into the interior of the inner container (37), wherein and the device includes means for bringing the pressure in the space between the outer container (28) and the inner container (37) to a desired level and maintaining it without intervention from outside the keg.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a dispensing unit, comprising a tapping column (1), comprising fixed to and extending substantially normal to the top surface (11a) of a top plate (11) provided with a through opening; and forming at the top of the column an elbow. The column comprises an elongated inner channel (2) bringing in fluid communication the opening of the support plate with a tapping pinch-valve (3a, 3b) located in a tapping head (3) positioned at or adjacent the elbow at the opposite top end of the tapping column and opening to ambient atmosphere facing towards the support plate (11). The tapping pinch-valve comprises first and second jaws (3a, 3b) suitable for receiving in pinching relationship the flexible portion of the outlet end (4a) of said dispensing line and for controlling the flow of liquid therethrough. The column (1) comprises means (1b) for opening a portion of the channel (2) including the pinch valve, such that the first and second jaws (3a, 3b) can be separated from one another by a distance substantially larger than the one corresponding to the open position (d1).
