Abstract:
Apparatuses and methods are described herein that allow a tap handle to be quickly and easily reoriented or replaced after being attached to a spigot. In an embodiment, an adjustment mechanism for a beverage tap handle includes a connecting element and a housing. The connecting element includes a stem and a first mating feature, and the housing includes an aperture to receive the stem and a second mating feature configured to mate with the first mating feature. The housing and the connecting element are (i) rotatable with respect to each other about a central axis of the stem when the first mating feature and second mating feature are not mated, and (ii) prevented from rotating with respect to each other about the central axis of the stem when the first mating feature and the second mating feature are mated.
Abstract:
A system for dispensing a flowable food product from a reservoir is provided. The system includes a fitment coupled to the reservoir and a piercing tool having a handle, a neck, and a piercing section, wherein the neck interconnects the handle with the piercing section. The piercing section is configured to create an opening in the reservoir through the fitment to enable dispensing of the flowable product.
Abstract:
Dispensing assembly (10) comprising a container (1), containing a pressurized beverage, connected to or provided with a dispense assembly, wherein the dispense assembly comprises an outlet channel (12) closable by a valve body (16) and a chamber (14) between the container (1) and the valve body (16), which chamber (14) is at least partly closed by a movable and/or deformable wall part (28) connected to the valve body (16) or a valve seat, such that pressurized beverage from the container filling the chamber forces the wall part (28), into a position biasing the valve body (16) or the valve seat in a position closing the outlet channel (12) and by pushing the wall part the valve body (16) or the valve seat can be forced into a position opening the outlet channel (12), wherein preferably at least during use there is an open connection between said chamber (14) and a beverage compartment of the container (1).
Abstract:
-The present invention concerns a dispensing assembly comprising a container (1) containing a liquid to be dispensed, a dispensing tube (10A) bringing in fluid communication with ambient the volume inside the container containing the liquid, said dispensing tube having a flexible, resilient portion (10D) ending in an outlet (10OUT) of diameter, D, and being engaged in a pinch valve system (300) comprising a squeezing member (303) suitable for squeezing and obturating a section of the flexible portion (10D) located at a distance, h, from the outlet (10OUT), characterized in that, the ratio, h / D, of the distance, h, to the outlet diameter, D, is not more than 2, preferably, not more than 1.5, more preferably, not more than 1.0.
Abstract:
A shock absorbing interposer is positionable between a manually manipulatable handle and a faucet of a beverage dispenser for dispensing a beverage. The interposer includes a faucet adapter mechanism for interconnecting to a lever of the faucet and a handle adapter mechanism for interconnecting to the handle. A shock absorbing member is operatively connected to the faucet adapter mechanism and the handle adapter mechanism to dissipate excessive forces applied to the handle as the handle is moved between a first operative position and a second operative position in order to reduce the likelihood that such excessive forces will be exerted on the faucet and handle. A faucet assembly including a faucet, handle and shock absorbing interposer is also provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device that is suitable for use with a beverage dispensing apparatus for dispensing a beverage, for example beer. The inventive device comprises a first opening at one end adapted to cooperate with a control flow faucet having a first dimension, and a second opening at the opposite end of the device adapted to cooperate with a shank having a second dimension to provide a flow path for dispensing a beverage from said shank through said control flow faucet. The advantage of the present invention is that the device serves as an interface and adapter between the control flow faucet and the shank having different dimensions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispensing line (10) made of an elastomeric material with an integral valve (11) which integral valve comprises a segment made of an elastomeric material. The segment defines a fluid outlet (27), and is open for fluid passage through the fluid outlet in one operational condition. The segment further restricts the fluid passage through the fluid outlet in another, different operational condition.
Abstract:
A beverage cooling apparatus including a first circuit forming a first set of fluid flow paths, a second circuit forming a second set of fluid flow paths in parallel with the first set of fluid flow paths, and a third circuit forming a third set of fluid flow paths in parallel with the first and second sets of fluid flow paths.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for facilitating the opening of cocks on liquid product containers of the type that consist of an assembly comprising a pouch or flexible skin (P) which is equipped with a racking cock (R) and which is housed in an overpack (F), such as a parallelepiped cardboard box. The invention is characterised in that it comprises: a fixing plate (1) supporting a horizontal shaft (5) which is disposed at a distance in front of said plate, such that it is parallel thereto, and which can move vertically in a limited manner; a cam stop (6) which is mounted such that it can rotate around the shaft (5) and which is equipped with an operating lever (8); and a tilting traction stirrup (7) which is also mounted such that it can rotate around the shaft (5) and which comprises two spaced-apart pull lugs (7b), whereby said traction stirrup can occupy a neutral raised position and an active lowered position in which the pull lugs (7b) are disposed below the articulation shaft (5) at a distance therefrom, in a plane that is perpendicular to the fixing plate (1).
Abstract:
Beverage container provided with a dispensing valve (7) and a dispensing channel (31, 33) connected to said dispensing valve, wherein an operating arm (41) is provided which, in a position of rest, includes an angle with a plane at right angles to a longitudinal axis (L) of the dispensing valve, wherein a pressure body (19) is provided between the pivoting arm and said valve, such that upon a pivotal movement of the arm from said position of rest the pressure body is moved and the valve is opened by the pressure body.
