Abstract:
A beverage dispenser includes a number of features providing enhanced functionality for a user, e.g., functionality beyond what might be found in traditional beverage dispensers. By way of example, an improved beverage dispenser may read data relating to contents, display information and graphics about the contents on a display panel, control and monitor dispensed fluids and so forth. A beverage dispenser instrumented in this manner may also be connected through a network to remote resources in order to augment local information and provide a rich, interactive user experience.
Abstract:
A dosing system including a dispensing tube to dispense a viscous liquid from a holding container to an output container, the tube includes an upper and a lower valve and a peristaltic pump to push against the dispensing tube and to cause the viscous liquid to open the lower valve.
Abstract:
A liquid evacuation system for removing under controlled conditions a liquid, such as wine, juices, chemical products such as detergents, from a flexible pouch using a mechanical pumping mechanism, such as a piston pump or a diaphragm pump, attached to the pouch wherein when the mechanical pumping mechanism is activated for the removal of liquid from the pouch; the liquid is removed from the pouch and a container is filled under controlled conditions; thereby avoiding air entrainment and the mechanical pumping mechanism is deactivated stopping the flow of liquid from the pouch.

Abstract:
Technologies are described herein for a dispensing nozzle for a beverage dispensing system. An example embodiment of the dispensing nozzle may include a housing; a nozzle manifold containing orifices and corresponding conduits for a number of diluents, macro-ingredient sweeteners, and micro-ingredients; a sweetener channel and a diluent baffle, the combination of which facilitates the mixing of the diluent and macro-ingredient sweetener; a funnel; and a nozzle exit. The diluent, macro-ingredient sweetener, and micro-ingredients may mix in the dispensing nozzle to form a predetermined beverage. The dispensing nozzle may communicate with various aspects of the beverage dispensing system to coordinate the dispensing of the predetermined beverage.
Abstract:
Portable, self-contained beverage apparatus 100 which includes a container assembly 100 having a known storage capacity for storing a consumable liquid, and a dispensing assembly 113 disposed within the container assembly that dispenses variable, non-zero quantities of additives into the consumable liquid. The dispensing assembly includes multiple apertures structured and arranged to retain vessels containing the additives to be dispensed into the consumable liquid. The beverage apparatus also includes a level sensor 104 disposed within the container assembly that determines a consumable liquid level of the consumable liquid stored in the container assembly 100.
