Abstract:
A grading blade for use with a plate compactor and a plate compactor having a grading blade, for use in grading base material when compacting. The grading blade is user movable relative to the plate compactor via a connection to a pivoting handle of the plate compactor or via a separate controller. The grading blade may be configured for use with a laser level and/or for remote control.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for producing material columns in the ground, to a vibrating arrangement, and to a method for producing material columns. The device comprises: a vibrating arrangement (1) having a vibrator (12), at least one first material pipe (11; 111), which has a longitudinal direction, and a material outlet (13) at a lower end of the first material pipe (11; 111); a carrying device (2) for the vibrating arrangement (1), which is designed to move the vibrating arrangement (1) in the longitudinal direction of the first material pipe; at least one lifting unit (3), which is arranged between the carrying device (2) and the first material pipe (11; 111) and which is designed to move at least the first material pipe (11; 111) in the longitudinal direction of the first material pipe.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a coupling whereby it becomes possible safely, efficiently and quickly to engage and disengage the hammer head such that the drawbacks conventionally seen are alleviated. Furthermore, the coupling according to the invention is an active coupling which is activated without the necessity of being connected directly to a source of energy but has a self-increasing principle which is explained herein.
Abstract:
A vibratoty plate compactor with aggregate feed system includes a frame, a soil compacting plate and a drive mechanism, such as a hydraulic motor, is mounted on the frame and has a rotatable drive shaft which uses a V-belt to drive a vibratory actuator on the tamping plate. The frame also carries a hopper that uses a screw conveyor to force the stored aggregate into a vertical conduit. A tamping piston forces aggregate out of the vertical conduit, through apertures in the compactor plate and compacts the loose soil with a multitude of blows, the vibratory plate is then actuated to further compact the aggregate. The process is repeated until the cavity is filled and compacted to the required density. The vibratory plate compactor with aggregate feed system is ideally suited to filling and compacting aggregate in used automobile tires that are used in the formation of a tire wall.
Abstract:
A tamper head having an elongated pyramidal or conical shape is used to construct rammed aggregate piers. The pyramidal or conical shape of the tamper head is more efficient at building up lateral earth pressure and provides for greater economy in the construction of the piers than available with existing methods that rely on tamper heads with flat bottoms and beveled sides.
