Abstract:
A method of releasing a work attachment from a coupler (2), wherein the work attachment is secured to the coupler via two pins held within two jaws (5, 7), the method including the steps of: (a) moving a jaw (7) to release a first pin (b) changing the orientation of the coupler (2) and work attachment relative to each other (c) moving the jaw (7) in the opposite direction to that in step (a); characterised by the step of: (d) moving the jaw (7) in the opposite direction to that in step (c) characterised in that the action of step (c) moves a safety link (17) to a release position, thereby allowing a locking portion (10) to release a second pin from a jaw in step (d).
Abstract:
Disclosed embodiments provide various quick release hose guide (120; 200; 300; 400; 500; 600) designs which can be attached to, or removed from, a work machine (100) with less effort than conventionally required. Exemplary embodiments of the hose guides include a sleeve (210) which slides over a post (110) on the work machine when hydraulic hoses (155) of an attachment (150) are to be connected to the hydraulic system of the work machine. A quick release pin (250) is inserted through apertures (115; 205/207) in the sleeve (210) and in the post (110) to secure the hose guide in place. A snap clip (260) connected to the pin can then be used to help insure that the pin remains in place. In some embodiments, unlike conventional hose guide designs, the hose guides remain with the attachment or implement hoses (155) when the attachment (150) is removed from the work machine (100).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A methof of coupling a fluid-powered work implement (14) to a boom assembly (12) of a work machine (10) is disclosed. The boom assembly (12) has a first male fluid coupling (48) attached thereto. The boom assembly (12) also has a plunger (72) attached thereto. The work implement (14) has a first female fluid coupling (46) attached thereto. The first female fluid coupling (46) has a first locking sleeve (54) slidably secured thereto. The method includes the step of moving the boom assembly (12) toward the work implement (14) so as to align the first male fluid coupling (48) with the first female fluid coupling (46). The method also includes the step of actuating the plunger (72) so as to cause the first locking sleeve (54) to be moved from a first locked position to a first unlocked position. Moreover, the method includes the step of further moving the boom assembly (12) so as to advance the first male fluid coupling (48) into the first female fluid coupling (46). The method further includes the step of deactuating the plunger (72) so as to cause the first locking sleeve (54) to be moved from the first unlocked position to the first locked position. An apparatus for coupling a fluid-powered implement (14) to a work machine (10) is also disclosed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a coupling arrangement for coupling a working implement to a working machine and being of the kind in which the two coupling parts are mutually connected both mechanically and hydraulically with no manual handling of the coupling arrangement. The machine-mounted coupling part includes drive means (10, 24) for moving associated hydraulic coupling connection means into coupling engagement with hydraulic coupling means (19) on the implement-mounted coupling part, when coupling the machine and implement. According to the invention, the hydraulic coupling connection (19) on the implement-mounted coupling part is movable in the direction of maneuvering movement of the hydraulic coupling, and is moved by the drive means (10, 24) via the hydraulic coupling connection (14) on the machine-mounted coupling part until coming into abutment with an abutment means (6) on the machine-mounted coupling part. The arrangement includes springs that function to exert a pressure that is opposed to this movement. The arrangement ensures that the clearance required for this mechanical coupling will not prevent effective and positive connection of the hydraulic couplings.
Abstract:
A device (10) to actuate a contamination cover (18) on a machine bracket (112), the device (10) comprising a master cylinder (12) positioned on the machine bracket (112); a first slave cylinder (14) positioned on the machine bracket (112) and connected to the contamination cover (18); and a closed master-slave circuit (16) connecting the master cylinder (12) to the slave cylinder (14) wherein the actuation of the master cylinder (12) drives the slave cylinder (14) for the transition of the contamination cover from a close to an open position.
Abstract:
A fluid coupler arrangement (18) for a first pressurized fluid circuit is disclosed. The fluid coupler arrangement has an extendable fluid coupler (19). The fluid coupler arrangement also has a receiving fluid coupler (20), to be coupled to the extendable coupler, so that in a coupled condition of the couplers the first pressurized fluid circuit extends through the couplers. The fluid coupler arrangement also has fluid channels that extend through the couplers. The extendable coupler has a static portion (22) and a piston (21) that is extendable with respect to the static portion. The extendable coupler has a compensatory surface (30) being fixedly connected to the static portion. The compensatory surface has a deviation with respect to the wall of the fluid channel of the extendable coupler, to at least partially retain the piston in an extended position when fluid flows through the couplers.

15a) eintritt.
