Abstract:
A female screw cylinder (2) made of a metal or the like is buried at one side portion inside a hole of a synthetic resin cylinder (1) and a swelling water-seal outer ring is fitted around its outer circumference so as to constitute a terminal. One side portion at the terminal of the female screw cylinder is meshed with a male screw (6) at the end portion of a separator (5) and a plug (8) to which a swelling water-seal inner ring (7) is fitted is fixed to the other side portion inside the hole of the synthetic resin cylinder.
Abstract:
The invention comprises a product. The product comprises a foam insulating panel having a first primary surface and an opposite second primary surface. A removable concrete form is spaced from the foam insulating panel and a concrete receiving space is defined between the second primary surface of the foam insulating panel and the removable concrete form. A method of using a hybrid insulated concrete form is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for constructing a wall of concrete or other settable material on a foundation such as a slab (43) adjacent to an edge (43') thereof using a mould assembly (10) having at least one mould panel (12) defining a boundary of the wall and suported by an upright post (26) and wherein a mould support member (46) is provided on the slab (43) and extends beyond the edge (43') of the slab (43) to support the mould panel (12) and post (26) such that the inner face of the mould panel (12) is substantially aligned with the edge (43').
Abstract:
An elongated body formed out of a fiber-reinforced resin and having a shape ratio (a ratio of a total length (Lmm) of a contour of a horizontal cross section to an actual area (Smm ) of the horizontal cross section) in the range of 0.5-2.5/mm and a thickness of 1-4 mm. Although this elongated body contains substantially the same amount of reinforced resin as a conventional elongated body, the tensile strength of the former is far higher than that of the latter. The elongated body according to the present invention is suitably used, especially, for a spacer for a concrete form.
Abstract:
A system for finishing a prefabricated wall panel (439) includes a rack wall (402), three tracks (420), and a roller (422). The rack wall includes columns (404) that can be inserted into molds in the prefabricated wall panel. The columns are rotatable from a vertical position to a horizontal position. Two lateral tracks each include a channel (424) and bolts (428) along a length of the track. The two lateral tracks are mounted to two ends of the wall rack and spaced apart about the width of the prefabricated wall panel. A top track includes bolts along a length of the track. The top track is located parallel to the wall rack at a distance about the height of the prefabricated wall panel. The roller has wheels that travel in the channels of the two lateral tracks so the roller can roll over mortar on the surface of the prefabricated wall panel.
Abstract:
Disclosed therein are a prefabricated form with reinforcing bars, in which tie bars perpen¬ dicularly joined to main bars are utilized as connectors for connection with a building frame form, which will be removed after concrete is poured, a non-support form system for allowing construction of beams or slabs without installing floor posts by using the prefabricated form with the reinforcing bars, and a non-support reinforced concrete construction method, which simplifies the general construction process since the floor posts are not installed. The non-support form system is to construct reinforced concrete beams or reinforced concrete slabs without using floor posts, and includes: a prefabricated form; and a temporary supporter suspensibly fixed beneath a building frame form of the prefabricated form.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Method for providing a connection between concrete parts. One of the concrete parts is provided with a number of encased, projecting reinforcing bars. The other concrete part is provided with a series of cavities in which said reinforcing bars are placed and are then fixed to the concrete part in question by being encased. The cavities are produced by encasing a body, which at least on the outside comprises a polysiloxane material, in the concrete. When a tensile force is applied to the body a considerable reduction in its cross section takes place, so that it is possible for the non-sticking body to be removed from the concrete in a simple way, after which the desired cavity remains.
