Abstract:
A modular tie member including a pair of side wall bracket members each encapsulated within a respective panel member forming an ICF block and a web member pivotally attached to and extending between the side wall bracket members. Each bracket member may include an extension portion and/or another interlocking mechanism associated with each opposite end thereof positioned for overlapping and engaging similar members associated with similarly constructed tie members when one tie member is stackably arranged one on top of another tie member. The extension portions and/or the other interlocking mechanism extend into respective teeth associated with the horizontally opposed edges of the panel members for mating with the extension portions and/or the other interlocking mechanism of another tie member. In still another embodiment, the web member is a one-piece member slidably engageable with the pair of bracket members.
Abstract:
Base support, aimed at the rest on the ground, of some frames, boards, holding plates or similar, particularly for frameworks about reinforced concrete masonries or analogous, characterized in that it comprises a base platen from which start off restraining means from the lower support edge of said frames, boards, holding plates or similar, on at least one side of them, preferably on both sides.
Abstract:
A concrete form system (10) for receiving concrete includes a plurality of interlocking form panels (20) having opposite side ends (24, 26), and which are capable of being selectively arranged in series as a wall of a form configured to receive concrete. A plurality of attachments (42, 46) are each disposed between adjacent form panels (50, 52, 60, 62), and vertically engage the side ends of adjacent form panels to interlock the side ends of the adjacent form panels to resist lateral separation of the adjacent form panels. The attachments include one or more channels (82, 74) or engagement walls (82, 84), and an insert (92, 94) received within the channels or engaging the engagement walls. Ties (130) or brackets (140, 142) can extend between parallel, spaced-apart form panels to maintain a predetermined, spaced-apart distance. A gauge bar (170) can moveably extend into the form to indicate a fill level.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a prefabricated mold panel in which: the worker can more easily provide a mold to a corresponding place such as a construction site or the like since the weight of the mold to be provided to the corresponding place is light and the volume of the mold is adjustable; and the installation time of the mold is remarkably reduced, thereby largely improving workability of the worker. Further, the mold is more easily disassembled, and particularly, the board part such as plywood which was used when the mold was provided can be reused whereby an amount of waste is tremendously reduced. In addition, the board part and a vertical bar having different vertical lengths are combined together, thereby more easily forming a space in which a window or the like may be provided. Consequently, construction efficiency can be considerably improved.
Abstract:
The invention is an integral form panel for use in concrete form systems. Embodiments of an integral form panel may include a flat panel portion including a plurality of grade slots configured for receiving a grade clip and a plurality of tie slots configured for receiving a tie therein. The integral form panel may further include a top lip adjacent to an upper edge of the flat panel portion, the top lip including a plurality of holes configured for receiving a stake therein. Embodiments of a concrete form system including the integral form panel and methods of using same to form concrete footings are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The preferred embodiment of the formwork apparatus (1) includes a panel (2) defining an interior side (3) for containment of a pourable substance, for example concrete (4). At least two panels are placed opposite each other and concrete (4) is poured into the space between the two panels. The panel (2) also defines an exterior side (5) having a peripheral region 6 and a central region (7). The majority of the pieces that collectively constitute the preferred embodiment, are manufactured from a strong workable material such as steel. The formwork apparatus (1) also includes a brace (8) being connectable to the peripheral and central regions (6) and (7) such that, in use, a first force having a component (10) directed toward the interior side (3) is applied by the brace (8) to the panel (2) within the central region (7), as best shown in figures (4) and (5). The brace (8) also applies a second force having a component (12) directed toward the exterior side (5) of the panel (2) within the peripheral region (6), as best shown in figures (3) and (6). This allows a user to apply force to the panel (2) to counter any bulging of the panel (2) due to the weight of the pourable substance being contained thereby. Each of the panels (30) and (31) define first and second panel edges (32) and (33) respectively which define a plurality of first panel apertures (34) and (35) disposed adjacent the panel edges (32) and (33). Placement of the two panel edges (32) and (33) adjacent each other defines two parallel rows of first and second panel apertures (34) and (35), with a substantially constant separation distance (39) being defined between respective first and second panel apertures (34) and (35). A connection plate (36) has first and second connection plate apertures (37) and (38), which are separated by the applicable separation distance (39). This allows for alignment of the connection plate (36) such that the first connection plate apertures (37) and (38) are aligned with selected panel apertures (34) and (35). Fasteners (43) are insertable through the connection plate apertures (37) and (38) and through the selected panel apertures (34) and (35) so as to affix the connection plate (36) to the second panel (31). Hence, the first panel (30) is effectively affixed to the second panel (31) via the connecting plate (36).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a casting mould arrangement for the embedding of pipes (4), in which the individual pipes are assumed to be placed essentially at a predetermined distance from one another and which comprises at least two base parts (1', 1") and at least one intermediate part (5), which parts are provided with recesses (4, 6, 7) intended to hold the pipes securely and to fix these in position, sockets (9) which have a holder arm (9") and are arranged at each end of the said base part in order to hold securely mould panels (8) which are located on the sides of the casting mould and which delimit the casting mould laterally, and means (10, 11) for receiving reinforcement bars (25), which means consist of pockets (14, 15, 16) in which reinforcement bars (25) are intended to be placed and retained essentially at a predetermined distance from the bottom, top and side covering of the casting mould. The invention also relates to the base part included in the arrangement.
