A climbing screen (1) comprising a climbing rail (3), which is adapted to be mountable on and translatable along a construction; a safety screen (4); and at least one platform (5) for supporting a work surface, wherein the climbing rail (3) and the safety screen (4) extend in a first direction parallel to one another and the platform (5) extends in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction, and the platform (5) is adapted to be translatable along the first direction relative to the climbing rail (3) and safety screen (4), whilst the climbing screen (1) is in an assembled state.

Abstract:
A rotary holding device attached to a body comprising a plurality of clamping legs which move relative to each other. The device allows simultaneous operation of either mounting the assembly to a vertical or horizontal edge or securing an object within the fully rotating holding housing. By moving the legs against the biasing force, the device is prepared for mounting to an edge such as a ladder leg or table. Upon release the device is automatically secured to the edge by means of the biasing force. Inadvertent movement of the device once positioned is further limited by grip improving materials applied to both the clamping legs and the edge mating face of body. The holding housing -in this case a female dovetail socket capable of receiving and securing a mating male dovetail fitted to or part of an accessory or component - may be rotated to the desired position. This position may be maintained - in this case by means of a sprung detent mechanism - to hold the accessory or component at the desired angle. To further increase the safe operation of the device whilst used at height - for example fitted to a ladder leg or scaffolding - a separate and independent locking device is attached to any one or more of the clamping legs. In this case a twistable body and expanding core plug is fitted to the clamping leg or legs and locked into place by rotating the outer body against the inner core. This movement reduces a certain shaft length and expands a flexible spring mounted on this shaft. Expansion of this spring within a clamping leg secures the locking device to the clamping leg and traps the ladder leg or scaffolding between the two devices.

A support base (10) for distributing a concentrated load over a contact surface is disclosed. The support base (10) includes a body formed of moldable polymeric material having a top surface (20) and a generally planar bottom surface (22). At least one recess is integrally formed in the top surface (20) for receiving a support member (102). The support member (102) transfers the concentrated load to the planar body. Furthermore, at least one through bore (18) is provided in the support base (10), and the through bore (18) extends from the top surface (20) to the bottom surface (22) and has relatively oversized cavity portion (32) adjacent to the bottom surface (22) for receiving fasteners (30) such as nuts for securing bolts, and acts as a sealant reservoir when a through bolt is used to secure the base to surfaces such as a rooftop. Additionally, an adjustable post assembly (100) is disclosed for use with the support base (10).

A scaffolding safety device (10) comprises a clamping portion (12) and an eyelet portion (14). The clamping portion (12) is arranged to be clamped to a scaffolding pole, either an upright standard pole or a horizontal ledger pole. The clamping portion (12) has a tether (16) secured thereto, which tether (16) is secured to a harness (18) worn by a worker.

The invention provides an assembly kit which is capable of being assembled into a variety of working configurations, in each of which it provides either a scaffold platform or some kind of working bench. The kit is also capable of assembling into a flat pack configuration. The kit includes a platform (14) and a pair of end frames (10, 12) with a simple releasable push-in interconnection between the end frames and the platform there being also a rigid brace member (16) which also has simple releasable push-in interconnection with the two end frames, when they are assembled to the platform, from outside the width of the end frames, and in a manner which produces a diagonal structure. The arrangement of the end frames (10, 12) also permits each end frame to be connected to the platform (14) at two or more vertically spaced positions. Further, it permits the assembly of a scaffold platform which includes one or more triangular structures.

A modular system for carrying and supplying electric power, liquids and gas in yards, which can be associated to scaffold systems, includes modular member in which electric power transmission means, hoses and pipes are bound to a case for supplying said services. A modular system according to the invention prevent spreading out in yards and scaffold systems wires, hoses and pipes, so improving the safety of worker.

In one embodiment, the interlocking holding system provides a pole holding and carrying apparatus for holding and carrying a plurality of poles of the type having rail connection means for connection with other poles, the apparatus comprising an elongate holder rack, adapted to engage with the rail connection means and comprising an interlocking means, preferably comprising a flange, provided on the elongate holder rack. The present application relates to interlocking means to form two or three dimensional interlocking for the provision of secure, safe and compact handling, transporting, storing or assembly of components.
