Abstract:
A mortise lock incorporating a modular powerpack with dual independent return mechanisms, one for the inside operator and one for the outside, using linear springs, and with a lockout feature for selective "locking out" of the return mechanisms to accommodate external operators with built-in powerpacks.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a bolt housing which - comprises a bolt that can be operated with a handle, said bolt being able to function both as a latch-bolt and as a dead bolt, wherein the bolt can be in a first terminal position wherein the bolt is brought maximally outside the bolt housing and in a second terminal position wherein the bolt is brought maximally within the bolt housing, wherein the bolt housing - comprises a first organ for the pushing in a direction of the second terminal position towards the first terminal position; and the bolt comprises an abutment which abutment - can be in a first position of the abutment wherein the bolt can be moved from the first position of the bolt to the second position of the bolt; and - can be in a second position of the abutment wherein the bolt can not be moved from the first position of the bolt to the second position of the bolt; wherein the bolt housing is designed for keeping the abutment in the first position of the abutment when the abutment is in the first state and for the keeping in the second position of the abutment when the abutment is in the second state; and the bolt housing further has a coupling-decoupling organ for moving the abutment from the first position of the abutment to the second position of the abutment and vice versa.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Abstract:
A lock assembly (20) including a lock bolt (28), a first hub (36), a first electrically powered hub locker assembly (64 to 70) and a first manually driven assembly (90 to 103). The lock bolt (28) is movable between a latching position and ah unlatching position. The first hub (36) is adapted to move the lock bolt (28) in response to movement of a first handle. The first electrically powered hub locker assembly (64 to 70) is positionable to selectively prevent or allow movement of the lock bolt (28) in response to torque being applied to the first handle. The first electrically powered hub locker assembly (64 to 70) is connectable to a first power source. The first manually driven assembly (90 to 103) is adapted for selectively preventing or allowing transmission of power from the first power source to the first electrically powered hub locker assembly (64 to 70).
Abstract:
This invention relates to a lock assembly (1) including a housing (2) and a latch bolt (3) that is moveable between an extended and retracted position under the influence of a biasing means (7). A retainer means (29) is adjustable between a first position, second position and third position. The retainer means (29) prevents movement of the latch bolt (3) from the retracted position when in first position, and does not prevent movement of the latch bolt (3) from the retracted position when in a second or third position. The retainer means (29) achieves a function often referred to as a whole back function.

Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a self-locking latch (1) comprising a bolt (2), spring bolt (3), auxiliary spring bolt (4) and a reversing lever (5). The bolt (2), which is actuated by a depressor follower (6) or a locking cylinder is pre-tensioned by an elastic element (7) into the closed position in the open position of the door and when the door leaf is pivoted into the door rebate, said bolt is released into the closed position by the action of at least the auxiliary spring bolt (4). A follower locking or idle-motion device (8) that can be remotely deactivated, preferably by electric actuation, is provided for the temporary activation of the depressor follower function. Said remotely actuated follower locking or idle-motion device (8) allows the inventive self-locking latches to be advantageously combined with centrally operated locking systems.
